Approaching two years that I purchased the Lelit Bianca. I ultimately plumbed it directly to water and added a filtration system to make it simpler. This thing is a tank. At first I was using it a few times a week. it's almost a year I use it almost daily. So time for a service and it was good to see how clean things were. Replaced the group head filter and gasket. Gasket was hardening but not brittle by any means and the IMS filter looked very good given usage. Included is the replacement group head filter. The original gasket is in black and 8mm. I bought both 8.0 and 8.5 and the original size was best. Very little to clean under the filter. And finally the product I use to perform backlashes every 1-2 months (mostly latter...). OK. I hope I don't piss off the audio gods here, but....I'm going to jump into the cold water and ask. I have an LG OLED TV that late at night I watch with BT headphones to give the better half rest time. The range is poor...very poor. Over the years I have used BT headphones with their own transmitter (limited but you can semi-manage two connections) and ultimately TV's often now come with BT built in and I could find headphones that managed more than 10-15ft range. Let's assume I need 20ft or so. Hence...my dilemma. The brand that worked and that I tried to replace no longer has that capacity...supply chain...whatever. I can use an extender which may be my best option. Any other thoughts from the gurus or has anyone had experience with extenders? I have read that I can crack open boxes and modify them, but I'm incapable of touching this LG...it's amazing and I basically suck at electronic so forgive me that. Thank you in advance... Sam

Great points again. That chassis can handle a good bit more power but it is very balanced stock. There are a few guys I’ve seen at the track with power adders and/or built motors in their Miata’s and they are a lot faster. I expect they beefed up braking too. HS

That’s a great point. The HP rating on my Miata is nothing short of hilarious. It forces one to not over drive the car as one learns (eg braking and reaccelerating. HS

I have had the pleasure of going around our track in a Cayman GT4 (a friend's) and it was nothing short of amazing...so balanced and forgiving. It makes one a better driver...better than they are anyhoo. I absolutely love the idea of an older Cayman for the track. Like you, I fear it would not be inexpensive but boy would it be a hoot. I got to visit with an older gent tracking a newish Gentian Blue Cayman S....damn that car was sexxxxxxy. HS

I picked up this tin can a few months ago to learn how to turn....LOL. It's a '91 (aka NA model). Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. It's going to be about 100 degrees when I track it this week. I need to get a Cool Shirt system installed or my butt may turn into a puddle in the mean spirited race seat... HS

That is awesome! You picked one of the country's best tracks based on what I've read. It looks as if you've gotten pretty serious about the track activities. If you get to the point where the consumables get to be too much you might consider an older Miata. So much cheaper to maintain....brakes, tires, axles, etc... Parts are abundant and relatively inexpensive. They don't give them away, but I figure it might pay for itself if you keep up with all this racing fun. HS

A GT4 is the most balanced car I've ever ridden around a track. Amazingly forgiving and doesn't beat one up along the process. What a super experience you had...congrats!!! HS

Jacob, I grind either roughly 22 grams for myself or closer to 42 when I have company on a few days of the week. The good thing is the Niche makes the adjustment fairly easy. Swinging between the Chemex and the espresso machine is a bit more but quite manageable. just need to run some beans through it when I go from Chemex to espresso to get the grind closer to ideal. Love the Niche and I'd definitely recommend it to someone. EDIT: I have not used a hand grinder at home. HS

I have the Niche Zero. It has served me well, but I definitely see why some would want to upgrade. My biggest issue at the moment is dialing in my Chemex again. I went through my last box of filters which I thought might be a bit different than all the boxed I'd bought previously. This latest box is much changed. I have to grind finer to get the "resident" time for extraction. HS

Jacob, I would gladly ship you my stored steel bracelet if you'd like to check it out. I certainly am not using it. Just send it back whenever you're done with it. Hopefully it is more comfortable for you than on me. I did do a bit of reading on this once I received the watch. Seems a mixed bag....some folks either received a much more comfortable bracelet or were indifferent. Other gents clearly were having my experience. Sam

My only caution would be the steel bracelet. I own the chrono and I am so grateful I prefer it on a Rubber B strap. The steel is VERY uncomfortable for me. Sharp edges. YMMV but thought I'd chime in... HS

Interesting designs. I need fewer coffee things on my counter vs more, though. Ask the wifey...LOL. HS
