Thats probably what I will do, its just that I think alot of the twenty-somethings here at HC are used to computer-based playback, and disc-only based playback is such a fundamentally abstract concept in some ways. I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, especially at the price, and when you consider the prices Emm Labs charges for their special DACs & algorithms and whatnot. I'd still call it a no-brainer, I think. I'm trying to think of a reason not to get two of these, to use one in the office.

Count Basie - Warm Breeze (OJC) Guess I forgot to scan this one, and I'm not going through all the boxes looking for it right now. This has some crazy dynamics to it. I was listening to it 2 or 3 weeks ago in the car with the subwoofer maxed and practically blew out the windows during an unexpected loud passage. Seems like there is no compression ceiling whatsoever. Thank god for my Kinetic battery It was pretty awesome.

I had that experience with D2000s after switching from HD650s. They sounded like shit.
