I'll be impressed when I see someone humming and whistling while simultaneously rubbing their belly and patting their head. Now that would be something to see. I'm easily amused

Lol, I'd show her these threads but she's just lol roll her eyes and likely slap me for being a twat

My wife keeps me from lolling too much, she's a lollerhater and spouts venom whenever she sees posts with lols in them. She's a former editor with a bee up her ass about how we all write on the interwebs these days.

Hopefully there will be another Seattle meet in March that I can get to, they're so noisy with speakers playing, talking and so-on it's hard to get good impressions anyway as you know. If the ATH 3000 turns up again I'll be happy, I'd love to hear those. I don't think there are any top-end stats that show up here though which is what I really want to hear.

Personally I preferred the transformers to the 313s. I had two versions of 313, a P/P and a P/N and found they were soft sounding for my tastes. I like things a little more dynamic, edgy and slightly rough around the edges. One reason I've been a little wary of the 007. I hear it described as maybe smoother and more refined than I might like. I've never heard them so it's conjecture based on what has been written but it's the best I've got to go on at this point. However, the 313 or similar would do as a stopgap until you can afford better and they are reasonably easy to resell.

I guess in a way I'm lucky in that my own setup is still the best I've heard. Up here in the North-west there doesn't seem to be too much in the way of super hi-end gear floating around to listen to. I can't even imagine the gear you and many others have heard and I'm both jealous and relieved at the same time. No dynamics better than my K1K, no 'stats better than the SR-X or 404 and few DACs and Amps that really stood out. I always end up buying blind as there is little other option without a lot of traveling and that's just impractical at this time. Whatever, I don't think I'll ever reach the giddy heights of Hi-Fi being discussed around here. I still love my setups though. They make me very happy.

Oh to be rich. ..and young .. and good looking

The Pico does look sexy but that Cooter amp looks like something else. My K1000s are crying.

I didn't realize my BS could sound so convincing. I should take up marketing!

How can the Grado extension cable cause a buzzing?
Smeggy replied to postjack's topic in Audio Accessories
The extra cable length is giving the signal more room to develop and therefore allowing you to hear things the stock length is too short to reproduce. It's all to do with the wavelengths involved at the buzz frequency. I'll wager the buzz is pretty low thus validating my claims because low frequencies are longer and need more wire or the signal wont fit. Or it could be a minor short/bad ground connection. -
Phah, try that line in the cables forum at (place that shall not be named) and see how far it gets you hehe Oh, and Asylum? yep! Reks will be sending your club jacket soon.

If it's green and wiggles, it's biology. If it stinks, it's chemistry. If it doesn't work, it's physics.

You do know she'll sue your ass to the stoneage for using her publicity flyers without her express permission. I'd remove that pic if you value your nuts.

John McCain is a well known left-wing, gay rights advocate who thinks abortions given through a universal healthcare system should be available to everyone. He wants open borders with whatever countries we're attached to and amnesty for all. Years ago he set up a workers right party that supported the little guy against the corporations and lobbying interests. He voted against the Iraq war and remains fiercely opposed to this day. He wants the troops home within six months and has sent an amendment to congress proposing to cut military funding by 50% over the next ten years. He was once a prisoner of war when, as a member of the peace corps, he was mistakenly arrested as a combatant and was forced to eat other POWs. In his younger days he was a member of the communist party of America and persecuted by McCarthy in the 50s. He has since moderated his views to become a leading Democrat and is running against Clinton and Obama.

I love Anne Coulter. She's far and away my favorite fascist at this time.

I'm not sure I care who wins, whoever it is is still gonna fuck us all in the ass anyway. Just that Hilary will need a strap-on.... or will (s)he

I take it that when people say they have crabs, they're talking of something significantly smaller. I can't imagine more than two or three of those in your pubes before it gets difficult to pull your pants on.

Holy crap, harsh crowd! I'm glad I wasn't there as I think the crap gear I have may well be considered *gulp* low-fi in that company, and that'd be too crushing for my fragile ego. Price-wise I can't even afford to go mid-fi. There would have to be a room set aside for team budget cheap-asses to avoid direct comparison. Nothing worse than someone trying your gear and seeing their face wrinkle up as if you'd wiped some dog poo on the pads Oh the humility of it all......

How has your rig changed in 2007? And do you have any future plans?

Yees, lefty-handed and just off to the left of the pic is an Evoluent vertical mouse. Really comfy. At that time I was finishing up SOCOM FTB2 for the PSP. -
Ah, I vaguely remember it now. I completely missed that homage when I watched it. Anyways, I'm about to go watch the insides of my eyelids for the next 8 hours or so. I'm still recovering from the side effects of Chantix. Stuff caused me to go into severe depression and chemical psychosis. Freaked the fuck out of me!
