  1. South Park reference... obviously wasted on you Philistines.
  2. I think we need a Mexican standoff between Jahns tower of power and yours

For closed cans, I'd like to try the Denons as I've read good/bleh things about them but they seem like they have promise with some modding. I haven't had a full-size closed can since 1977 or so. Koss Pro4AA
  4. 1. Steal underpants 2. 3. 30% increase in profit.
  5. Nice Young! I like the Atoms. I listened to a set a few years ago, not sure if it was a V5 or not but they were very good little speakers and I'd be very happy with a set myself if I had anywhere to use them. Enjoy the sounds.
  6. Pfft, so much for my capitalized hint!
  7. Yeah, it was kinda like that with Heroes for me. Way too many new and annoying members every fucking week. I didn't even bother with the new lost season.
  8. Nice cabling job Alex. I'm not a big cable believer myself but I still need to get my K1000 done as the stock wire is too damn short and I want decent 'nanas on the ends so I'll be sending them to you one of these days as funds permit. I read so much about the R10 it's difficult not to be intrigued by them. I could never afford them of course, wouldn't mind a listen though.
  9. Hmm, good point. Next flight I'm on I'll hold my breath until I get there. Don't want germsies.

Not necessarily, you might find 'female Woman' redundant, but If you'd met some of the women I've met, you'd rethink....
  11. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you... US NAVY SEAL-style
  12. I know, I know, at my age I should be less of a fucktard. In my defense I have the mental age of a 15 year-old which is why I'm a game developer instead of having a real job
  13. X2 distract yourself and it'll be much less of a problem.
  14. This place is turning out great for refining my bullshitting skillz.
  15. There ya go. I don't like the SR-60 or SR-125. I prefer the MS-1 to both and I still prefer the KSC-75 to all of them. However, it's still a long way from my staxes and K1000s which I prefer to all else I've heard. Guess I'm not a Grado type, and in the interest of fairness, I'm not a Sennheiser type either.
  16. OMG, roflcopters!!!1!!111 I'm sorry guys, I was in fact making the whole thing up parodying the whole cable BS theories from H-F and writing something totally implausible but in a sorta pseudo-believable way. I really don't know shit about this stuff and was being totally facetious. I'd hate to actually be correct in any way based on a joke because it's just too retarded to contemplate I actually think Posty is pulling my leg in return
  17. Let's hope it clears up. I think it would be uncommon not to develop tinnitus of some level as time goes on. However, like much white noise it can be noticeable at times and at other times your brain can quite effectively filter it out if you're not thinking about it. Mine is always louder when I listen for it or discuss it. Most of the time it doesn't register much.
  18. Tinnitus is a fixed pitch white noise that's always there. I have tinnitus louder in one ear than the other, which is apparently a warning sign of some other damage but they couldn't figure it out with me. I've had it for years. Yours sounds like it may be something else but only an ENT specialist can say. I wouldn't be too worried at this point, it may just be a small congestion in the ear/nose piping.

Hmmm, it just doesn't seem to make much financial sense when you could make a huge really tangible improvement with better phones. The mods may well improve things a bit but I doubt it'll be anywhere close to what you can achieve by spending that cash elsewhere. I guess I like to put money where I feel it'll be of most benefit to me. But It's your cash and ultimately your choice.
  20. I'll be impressed when I see someone humming and whistling while simultaneously rubbing their belly and patting their head. Now that would be something to see. I'm easily amused
  21. Lol, I'd show her these threads but she's just lol roll her eyes and likely slap me for being a twat
  22. My wife keeps me from lolling too much, she's a lollerhater and spouts venom whenever she sees posts with lols in them. She's a former editor with a bee up her ass about how we all write on the interwebs these days.
  23. Hopefully there will be another Seattle meet in March that I can get to, they're so noisy with speakers playing, talking and so-on it's hard to get good impressions anyway as you know. If the ATH 3000 turns up again I'll be happy, I'd love to hear those. I don't think there are any top-end stats that show up here though which is what I really want to hear.
