Just go with both. That is what I did... they really are great in their own respect but they certainly do compliment each other very well. I had a balanced gilmore reference with HD650s and a KGSS with the OIIs and they both had their place. I certainly would not pick one over the other as I think they are both equally as good. So my suggestion is get both

is it a powered sub? If it is why not just wire the sub and speakers to the same outputs?

Just cut off 1/4" plug... strip the sleeving... find the correct wire for each channel and thats about it.

All but the Zu can easily be done so.

The VDA/VAC is a nice little combo. It should certainly help take a bit of the edge off the Dynahi which imho is a good thing. For the money I cant think of a dac I would rather have aside from perhaps the Nixon Tubedac+

GE is currently burried in books and tests every day... in fact I will be gone from about August 1st to September 22nd or so with training in various places where I have to travel to. So that is also where the website currently is. I am too busy and will be for the next two months for it to be worthwhile to put up. I do not want to have to turn down my first few sales... I hate having to do that already. Off to go play with DA100 and take some pics

I lived with the thing for 9 months... I know how it sounds... especially compared to my 1212m which I will have and use as a benchmark to test different DACs and sources. So that will not be a problem.

Well it made it... took only 3 days from South Korea... not bad at all. Ill get some time to play with it tonight.

Cool they have counter balasts on them. I suppose that could be rather useful for those super active iPod users and their Starbucks coffee. The name alone is enough to make me want to sell my GS1000s. I dont want to be associated in any way with anything that comes in ipod white and has a name that begins with iSomething. Hmmm the response you got is/was a lot more readable then the one they sent me. Looks like you got someone that can clearly speak english and knows the product a good bit better then the response I got.

The only info I have been able to get out of April Music as to the changes from the MKI to the MKII is they slightly upgraded the psu and filtering. ie perhaps the change from generic transformer to custom toroidals Ken, as for duties, there should not be any. I have yet to ever have to pay duties for items brought into the country.

Apparently there are already some shops over there that mod them...
