Missus Beastly - Missus Beastly (1969) This is the first album from one of the earliest krautrock bands. Missus Beastly mixes blues, jazz and groovy rock into heavy psychedelic stew. Band members are all very young here and it shows. Production is fairly low-fi and no master tapes exist so all CD are sourced from LPs. Music is interesting especially the groovy organ solos and jazzy drum playing. Last track is excellent groovy and jazzy composition, and is a standout here. Lutz Oldemeier, the drummer, will go on to play on Aera's T

The Residents - Whatever Happened to Vileness Fats? / The Census Taker (1991) Soundtrack to two films, "Whatever Happened to Vileness Fats?" never came into being and "The Census Taker" is an obscure low-budget horror flick about family murdering a census taker. I like this album a lot, it's up there with better Residents albums.

I noticed that some tubes (Toshiba, RCA clear tops) give me T1S more definition on the bottom end and play better with louder volumes. I guess they have better ability to handle higher voltages.
