The thing is I heard 007t and liked T1S and W better. I never heard KGSS but sounds like it's a nice amp. I did have a chance to listen to SRM-717 and it very good, especial with O2, too bad they don't make them with normal bias. I need normal bias for my SR-Sigmas so any amp without is out of the question for me. How was the sound stage on KGSS?

What did you like more T1S or 007t?

It was not, but since you volunteered We can talk about it via PMs, something like this would be cool to have.

Koss ESP/950 electrostat thread
Addendum: This was when I was using them with SRM-1 or E90, when used with T1 they do make annoying sounds as I found out last night. Even on SRM-1, if I listen carefully I can hear some noises.

Did you short the pins on ESP950 and then plug it into E90? When I do that ESP950 is silent on E90 amp and never makes any noises. I am sure now that this is an issue with Stax pro bias not working correctly with ESP950. The funny thing is that on normal bias socket is does not buzz. I wish I had one of these bias leach adapters to test this. O2 farts, but does not squeal.

Nope, it's constant on Stax amp and never there on E90. Also if I move ESP950 to Stax amp from E90 it does not make this sound for several minutes and than it develops.

Extremely strange things are going on: ESP950 plugged into T1 amp into Pro bias= faint squeal ESP950 unplugged from T1 still faintly squeal until pins are shortened, and it still makes this sound even if I unplug it from amp and adapter. ESP950 plugged into E/90 = dead silent no squeal ESP950 plugged into T1 normal bias = dead silent no squeal and very soft SRM-1 with ESP950 still produces faint squeal, but it is almost not audible. All Stax headphones sound perfect with my T1. What is happening? Does ESP950 need some kind of resistor build into cable? The squeal is very very minor in all cases but it is there.

The only Lambda Spirit I heard sounded very similar to original Lambda, more than any other Lambda I heard.

Ночной Проспект - Кислоты Ripped my old cassette copy to mp3s Since I got a "new" cassette deck, JVC TD-V661, for cheap to replace my almost dead Teac. Does not sound that bad

Manley Skipjack--Your thoughts?
I have Luxman AS-44 and I think it's great. It can be found around $200 if you look for it. Great switch box.

What are these popping noises you hear? Do they sound electrical in nature? I hear noises when I move them around or open my mouth. I think it's the dust cover or diaphragm. They are always very soft and don't bother me. So far no high pitched electrical sounding stuff that might indicate a problem. I also don't listen to my set that much and keep them in the bag at all times.

Post the last thing you bought!
I dealt with Craig a few times and it was always trouble free. He also researched things for me at no cost and I appreciate this very much. With this said I do expect their site to get better and send outbid confirmation. However at this time I place the max bid and walk away since I figure that is the best way to make sure I get something and if I don't too bad. I really hope Craig improves his site as he is a pleasure to deal with.

Do you think the material of the driver frame (gold on LNS and Red on SR-404/303) is the same just different color? Tension is different probably and so is thickness. LNS driver Stax Sr-404 driver

The color of the frame is different on LNS so the driver is technically the same but materials could be different, no? Except for the color LNS has the same cable as original Omega? Or is it different in other ways?
