  1. Heh, money, cock, Cynar, Parker's 27 and funny Monkeys. Good stuff. I think I slightly prefer the Dolin Blue Paradise, but then again I have to try it with the Parfait Amour. No way that is happening tonight.
  2. Because Marc is the man, two Blue Paradises, Dubonnet Rouge on the left and Dolin Rouge on the right, both stirred (as were the Jupiters) OK, this is going to take longer than the Jupiters. The Dubonnet integrates better, but the Cognac is a little more prominent with the Dolin (and that is not a bad thing).
  3. Two Jupiters using the recipe Marc posted earlier. The one on the left uses Parfait Amour and the one on the right uses Creme de Violette Parfait Amour wins.
  4. Welcome to the Mac Mini club sir.
  5. Nice and nice, Al.
  6. I found that THIS extended battery did the trick for me.
  7. Happys Birthdays to yous twos
  8. Works fine for me on Snow Leopard, Win7, Vista, XP and Win7 in a Parallels virtual machine.
  9. The Happiest of Birthdays to you good sir.
  10. Bah, you live in Texas. Have one on the way to picking the speaker up
  11. No. Soylent Green is people.
  12. The 20 is a bit smoother and has a nicer finish IMO.
  13. Nice Raffy. The 20 yr old is my favorite. I like it better than the older and significantly more expensive 23 yr old stuff.

Just a word of advice. Digging up threads that are almost two years old to respond to, is an inherently bad idea.
  15. Nice looking cocktails Shelly. Some of the Ginger beers can be overpowering. The Fentimans seems to work well, but I like the taste of Ginger. The Paradise struck me as bland, drinkable, but no complexity.
  16. If someone comes into my house and starts talking shit, my response will be dependent on whether we are friends or strangers. Response here is the same. Strangers talking shit get the shovel and that is the way it should be.
  17. The exchange program sounds intriguing. Only the green chartreuse in the WKs here.
  18. Yep, I like the Widow's Kiss (cocktail). Right now I have, and like, Calvados Morice. I like to try new things so let me know the brand you like. I love that flask of Chartreuse! Nice improvisation Al! How is the Bourye? Sounds interesting but I have not tried it.
  19. A Carthusian with equal parts (3/4 oz) Punt E Mes and Green Chartreuse. I like this one better than the ones the other night.
  20. If I get tenure this spring, Fuckface will definitely work it's way back into my classroom vocabulary. BTW that was a great scene.
  21. Some Gnarly Head Old Vine Zin with dinner. Nice beer and nice view Al.
  22. Yes I have and I cannot disagree with your assessment.
  23. How did I miss this thread? Downloading now.
  24. Happy Birthday Cooking Man!
