  1. Has anyone had a chance to hear the new McIntosh SACD/CD beast yet. I'm pretty sure this uses the new ESS ES9018 chip. It also has SPDIF in so this is certainly a contender for the 2-channel system. Well except for the fact it has a $6500 MSRP and at that price point it better be pretty special.
  2. x2 on The Fairfield Four. Both The Trinity Sessions and Trinity Revisited (Cowboy Junkies) are great live recordings.
  3. I'm afraid it may be even bigger than that.
  4. $98.99 DSD transport from sleasy-bay
  5. Happy DIY Birthday
  6. Sorry for your loss Chris.

  8. Nice, that looks like a better USB solution. Yep, if I don't just jump right in it usually doesn't happen.
  9. The MUX is on the secondary list to be ordered when the AC1 is ready. What do you think of their USB module? For some reason I hesitated in ordering it.
  10. Well I actually bought these a while ago, but they just arrived today: Buffalo32s LCDPS LCBPS x 2 volumite toslink module 15VA Transformer 9 + 9 V Secondary x2 15VA Transformer 15 + 15 V Secondary x2
  11. Yeah, good call. Now that I remember we didn't get the Britax until about 1 year old.
  12. Friday around 6:45PM P, VF (if there is anything left to do), VS, VSn
  13. Hmmm, may have to have Al look at that contract .... I'm screwed.
  14. No problem, but then I get to pick whose credit card it gets charged to.
  15. The question is, do you really want me buying scotch?
  16. Don't look any farther than Britax, they are far and away the best.
  17. I'm in for whatever, but I vote for low key. QFT
  18. Ordered as well Well you can always sell them on Head-Fi.
  19. It's the underlying process of all burn-in phenomena. Obviously it's the positron affecting the sound.
  20. Now that is serious Bourbon (and nice composition) and to keep on topic:
