  1. ^^^ I bought that on vinyl the other day. Whoever did the pressing needs to be fucked, broken and driven across the land. On a Nick Cave jag this morning. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds -- Your Funeral, My Trial
  2. +1000. She's less use than a box of Blackbodies.
  3. Dead Can Dance -- Spiritchaser
  4. But not the last.
  5. That's where the vinotemp goes. Duh.
  6. David Bowie -- The Man Who Sold The World
  7. Yeah, rookie mistake. Think I clawed it back a bit by asking if she'd rather the cash flow went to something like Sox/Pats season tickets, where she'd have the added bonus of being lumped with the kids all day on the weekend. Meanwhile, I shall seek wisdom among the aphorisms.
  8. I was mellow enough last night to remark to the wife that one could "easily" blow $10,000 on an analog front end. This was a major tactical error. 11. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds -- The Boatman's Call

  14. Aphex Twin -- Selected Ambient Works Volume II
  15. Sounds like you need bourbon!
  16. Twat wire, you say? They certainly know their target market!
  17. I read on Head-Fi that Edition 8s sound just like Focal Grand Utopias.
  18. Sudden segue, this was in the latest MusicDirect catalog. Nice feature set, with a mono switch and built-in cartridge demagnetizer. I really love the look of Luxman gear.
  19. I've heard it said a couple of times that idlers are not for those who can't (or don't want to) be their own mechanics. You guys are not exactly exploding the stereotype.
  20. Hott!
  21. I would guess it's aimed at the Peachtree stuff. The Decco and Nova seem to have done really well.
  22. Andrew Bird's Bowl Of Fire -- Oh! The Grandeur!
  23. No. It was killed in The Great Rationalization.
