I looked yesterday and Spirit (spiritair.com)has some really good deals to there (round trip direct for under $150 DCA -> FLL direct). Meaghan has bowed out but says I can go if I like. I'm now trying to figure out if my work schedule will allow this trip and also the budget since we are looking at a couple fairly expensive bike things.

hmmm..... tickets DCA -> FLL are $282 (through fucking Chicago though) and I happen to have $280 in refund left on United from a trip I had to cancel because of a family emergency.... hmmmmm

Yesterday I, went to the finish of my wife's 10k, had a headphone buddy over, rode 60km as required by my trainer, moved my photo database to my Drobo (yay 80GB freed up), went to a running club party, and finally dropped below 250lbs for the first time in at least 1 year. All in all an awesome day BTW that thriller thing is pretty awesome..

Yeah. I'm a bit of a hard-ass so I manage too resist. When I'm away though my wife used to let the dog do all sorts of crap, she claims she (my wife) doesn't do that anymore. Our dog (Rugby) has been pretty well behaved for the last year or so.

x2 on that. Especially the rescue part. As dog owner as well I feel I should point out that if you raise it not to be spoiled dogs aren't spoiled/troublesome. They will provide you with a life full of unquestioning love.

No rush dude. Enjoy making the house yours It's a fun and daunting experience at the same time (like most things). Whatever you do don't add up the bills though. It can prove depressing.

My LBS gave me a good deal on them, but I guess they would have given me a deal on the s-works too. I had been thinking about trying out the S-works but I figure that for the couple grams I'll go with the tried and true closures. That said the S-Works are supposed to be amazing too, I believe the fits soles etc are essentially identical and it's down to closure and weight. I'm excited to try them on the road. Did a little riding on the trainer in a test pair but because I wanted 2010s I had to order them in.

Now if I can just sell my rowing machine so I can get a better trainer....
