edit: luckily I'm broke from buying bike stuff/trips
Thanks a lot everyone! I had a good birthday. I took the afternoon off and then went to the opera. Over the weekend my wife surprised me with a party. She got me good.
I'm 99% that my company had something to do with the contract design on that one.

Anyway, Yesterday I rode 66km in the pissing rain. 132km for the weekend.
I have a Linn Classik for my speakers and really like it and think it does detail well. I am no speaker expert though and my room is far from ideal. I think they are fairly well respected. I have not been able to determine what class (A, A/B etc) they are though.
I have two monitors (from different manufacturers) side by side both calibrated with a Spyder (in a dark room etc) and they are sooooo fucking different. You are kidding yourself.
I convert to JPG does that count?
I haven't measured the HD800s really. I should get around to that sometime. My measurements helped me figure out why I like what I like and I've sort of moved on a bit. That said I'm not getting rid of any of my measurement setup.
Lately I really haven't been listening much outside of work (Creative Zen -> AE-2-> ER-4s) because I've been going out riding or to the gym and riding every evening and then by the time I get home Meaghan is home and I want to hang out with her. Imagine that
Yep. I tell myself it and I've actually followed through for a couple months but now I really want to buy tickets to a meet at which I will likely hear JH13s and do something rather stupid.
Edit: I have a friend building me a DIY DynaFET but that doesn't count since I committed months ago and won't get it for months.
Beware of the Amish my dining room set cost north of 8 grand.
Also Target has some stuff that is solid wood that is available only on the website that is excellent.
I started the diet plan since then, though I did ride 20 miles the day I had the poutine. It's an easy diet: don't eat much. I lost 90lbs, ate a lot put back on 50 now I'll lose 60 (already off 15) and call that quits for a while unless I start gaining again.
