I am in much the same. The nice Yamaha soundbars with the little calibration mic look good but my room and tv placement is going to present a lot of trouble and I want some assurance before dropping that much.
I wonder if I can get a trial from somewhere to try before I buy or buy and return etc.
Woke up late and a little hung over from a night out. Rode 33miles on my bike trainer setting a new PR on the course I did. Meaghan and I then took a dip in the hot tub in sub freezing temperatures which was lots of fun now that we have suitable robes. Ate lunch.
Now I am resting up for a "Max Power" torture session on the trainer again to find out my max HR and functional threshold power.
That's a whole lot of ifs to be deciding not to buy headphones over..... or predicting the end of a company at all for that matter. To be honest I'd be tempted to buy the stock considering this appears to mean that their margin was much higher than expected.
Why would Koss go under over this? It is a lot of money but if they were making money while she was skimming (understatement) then it doesn't suddenly make them bankrupt now it just means their dividend should have been much larger.
Maybe what she stole was money she felt she deserved because she made the company profit margin 20% from 6% and just took the difference. That's the logic that a lot of bankers appear to follow.
I dunno, what's koss's revenue? My parents had someone steal a very sizable amount of money from them and hide it for 3 -5 years and their revenue is much much smaller I would guess.
May both women rot in jail.
Dunno if this was posted already but it is up to 31 million:
Koss fires auditor as losses hit $31 million - JSOnline
Koss Corp. Fires Auditor as Alleged Fraud Loss Widens to $31 Million - DailyFinance
Essentially entirely controlled by the Koss family with 70% of the stock.
I would say not until it ends
I can't remember how much it costs to change an opera ticket but I'm thinking about it. If I can't make is and Vlad wants I'll send all my crap with him. HD800, DAC3, DEQ 2496 etc.
I wonder if it even bothers with a separate amp for the headphones or just uses the output stage for the XLRs. Daniel Weiss loves low output impedance and high voltage swing for his output stages. Apparently you can drive speakers with the output on the DAC1.
8 hours of meetings
nice dinner with attendees of said meeting

my cat then knocked my one of my Paradigm speakers off its stand breaking off the plastic logo holder
