Cool. It doesn't look like it's a real issue on the PC looking through the thread. I will see how it goes in a few weeks.

Awesome Vicki have a blast

For a gps watch it's not. Also my wrist isn't that big.

I picked this up today. Not mine to keep yet but feels light and looks awesome. I am looking forward to playing with it once I am under 190.

The Schiit Audio Version Of A Leather Company
Dreadhead replied to roadtonowhere08's topic in Off Topic
I want one of their Leather ID wallets but after getting the Dopp Regatta 88 front pocket wallet last week I can't really justify it as this one works great and I already own it. I know head case isn't about justifying anything and I'm till thinking about it. On a separate note having a compact and non-pain inducing wallet is awesome. -
I think about 6ft or so as rotund looks about in proportion at that height and you're short enough that you shouldn't scare little kids too much.

Nemesis hoops are sexy. I don't think that the hub is 11 speed compatible though.

Well said

When it was my only bike it got ridden all winter. My point was that it is sort of sad to make a thoroughbred be a pack horse but on sunny days the Calfee is the ride of choice.
-
Enjoy it Vicki. That new bike feeling when stuff just clicks is awesome.

Decided against a new bike for now. The Giant TCR Advanced SL will become my ride from work bike. It is totally crazy to have a bike that nice as a commuter/rain bike but I can't sell it for much more than the CAAD 10 4 Rival bike would cost me so why not. The Zipp 404 wheels should move to the Calfee but I just can't seem to bring myself to take off the Mad Fibers.

Cool Vicki. I got in just about the same out of work (31km). The live tracking app seems to work well too and doesn't use much battery doing updates every 2 minutes. May increase it to 5 minutes.

Very glad you're enjoying the bike Vicki! More power too you on the off handlebar drinking as I've never been able to do that even after hundreds of hours in the saddle. All my bikes are pretty twitchy race geomety but to be perfectly honest it's user error. It looks like I may be getting another bike. I've been looking into it and I have pretty much decided to pack up my old Trek 1200 that I currently ride out of work during the week and take and leave it at my parents/brothers' house in Barbados. I'm very much looking forward to riding down there even if the airline will charge half what the bike is worth to get it down there. What's blowing my mind though is that my wife seems to be supportive of me getting another bike to replace it in the stable (rather than ride the Giant during the week). I'm thinking of a CAAD 10 4 Rival, as that way I get SRAM and help out my local shop more than ordering from Neuvation. I'm thinking about it though and maybe just riding the Giant is the most sensible thing.

It's noon, Vicki is on vacation but I don't see any bike pics. Something is wrong Unrelated note: I downloaded an app to my android phone that will let my wife live-track my rides. She's still not happy about me riding on roads by myself but I think it will help.

I wish I had the option for SRAM Apex but so be it. That is retarded cheap.

I used to race on the FC100 for crits and when I didn't feel like risking my Giant. It's a fabulous bike for the money. Thinking about picking one up to ship home....

Glad to hear it Vicki.

Vicki you can always upgrade this bike. That is what I love about my Calfee: I will never sell it. If the standard switches to disc brakes I will just send it back to be modified. I am planning to go to SRAM Red 22 with hydraulic rim brakes sometime in the next few years.

New single winder. Works great and now I get to wear my Breitling more. Only oddity is that it stops the watch in the 10 o'clock position rather than 12 which is odd. What can I expect for $35.

On steep climbs most people move back on the saddle to better engage the glutes and quads. The nose reminds me of multiple TT seats and is likely for when you're hammering in the drops and are "on the rivet" as the saying goes, though only people with Brooks are actually rubbing the saddle rivet anymore.

I have two topeak mediums. Love them.

I bought a full set of MTB pads but I feel like such a fred wearing them that I don't. I need to get over that...
