  1. Not making me feel so great about my purchase. Mine shipped and should be here next week. If you feel that way why don't you just tell the shop to sell them and give you your money back?
  2. Sorry Knucks. I hope things are looking up soon and you're able to replace the car with something more safe soon.
  3. I will ignore the request for pictures of my legs
  4. Shaved my legs for the first time in a very long time. Going to go faster on my next ride. Well no I won't.
  5. Happy birthday Stretch!
  6. ? Sorry I don't get it.
  7. I hope it's better than flaky in the end but you do have a point. I don't think I ever saw $800 but I did see $1k-1.2k back when they were Metrigear. It would be nice if they could have avoided the pods being out in the open and the original plan was to have them behind the pedals but then the issue became that the pedal clearances have dropped to almost nothing on a lot of frames. I'm still holding out hope that they fix any issues that arise and I end up with a powermeter system that is easy to transfer and transport.
  8. Yeah I guess we will see. Looks like it could be this (which is easily fixable): https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?49192-Vector-pairing-issues-left-pedal-Edge-800 My biggest concern is I've already seen a picture of a snapped off pod. I then realised that if you're standing on the pedals and not clipped in (e.g. on a hill) you could concievably push on the pod and break it off. At least the pods are a lot cheaper than the rest of it.
  9. Well I hope that they play well with each other. I'm not buying a 810. I'll just sell my Vectors when they arrive. DC Rainmaker didn't seem to have any issue. I've basically given up on selling the Quarq as I can't seem to get a reasonable amount for it. I refuse to sell it for $200 more than the price of a crankset which is what the last set went for on EBay after fees. I guess the more the merrier or some such.
  10. Agreed. Sounds like an incredible trip.
  11. Chris, Also you can more easily get a lot of handlebar drop on a smaller frame which flattens the back and decreases your drag. I'm not saying that it's justified if you can't put out the power to go with it but that's the thinking as well as weight (which is much less of an issue these days with almost all bikes in the pros being on the UCI limit with weights).
  12. I would not worry about it too much. The current pro trends are long seat posts and stems but in your sizes I would stick with what you did.
  13. We should make a head case strava group if there is such a thing
  14. 37 miles with the shop ride. I ate/drank way too much on Saturday but it was still fun. Long way to go to be comfortable in the fast group but I enjoyed it even if I was dropped a few times.
  15. Happy birthday!
  16. So we going to do 40 at the lake?
  17. Yeah I agree with regards to your choice too
  18. Why must you?
  19. I can host at the lake.

  21. That does look pretty good. I'm booked up unfortunately.
  22. That sucks Larry but at least you were able to rescue the gear and have the money to be able to fix everything. I'm not sure if it's common practice or never done but I would think an automatic sump pump in that window well is a good investment in the future.
  23. RIP
  24. Wow that's cheap. I love BackBlaze but that's dirt cheap. I wonder if it supports removable media...
  25. Went for a ride from work on the Giant TCR Avanced SL. It may not be a good thing I decided to switch to using it for during the week riding as I had a hard time wanting to return to the office.
