No cliff that I remember. We can skip some of the steeper stuff though. Nothing worse than the hills in that loop that I can think of. That said I'm happy to come to you
Either way there is climbing I was planning on that Hollin Hills neighborhood. I hate to ask you to drive over again but it would make it a lot easier on me. I will owe you one.
I started rolling at 645 this morning and it was still hot. I will see if I can do something Sunday. Tomorrow is going to have to be a short ride in the afternoon or at trip to the gym/shed.
Jeff, what time you riding? We were supposed to head to the house but we are around because we had too much going on. Any interest in a Sunday morning ride? I vote Calfee but I was riding mine today.
Nate because the uci only dinged them 1400 swiss franc and 20 seconds which is a lot less than the other option. So bloody annoying to see them game the system.
Hope you heal up soon.
Got in another out of work ride. It was fricking hot and muggy at 8am. In honor of today's Tour stage I did a hill repeat on one of the longer climbs. Tomorrow is my day off so I'm going to get rolling earlier and hope there isn't too much traffic.
It was probably shipped with insurance which means they treat it like it's filled with gold bars. USPS express guarantees suck but it's a very safe way to ship high value items cheaply. I send all my watches for service using it and it's always nerve-wracking because the tracking never seems to make sense.
One of the guys in my club posted this over the weekend: "I have a CAAD10 and an Evo and the Evo has 136 miles and the CAAD10 has 10,000". That says something, particularly from that guy as he's a picky PITA.
Vicki I totally didn't think you were being pissy. Even at my fittest I was mostly a B rider and had a hard time with the A group in the ride I usually did and that was riding 12-15 hours a week. Trying and getting dropped is frustrating as hell.
I bought 2 Camelbak Podium Big Chill water bottles yesterday and I am very impressed with them when compared to my stock water bottles. 2 hours out in 90+ degrees and the liquids were still enjoyably cool (They started as half ice to be fair). I've been doing rides in this temperature with regular bottles (with the same ice in them) and the difference was very noticable to me.
Sorry Vicki. Sounds like you need to find a slower group in your area. I got out for about 38 km starting at 1:30pm or so. My new insulated water bottles are awesome in this weather.
