  1. Jeff yes they will fit. I can't think of any reason they wouldn't On tires it's Continental all the way for me. Burned through 2 sets of Pro3 and was never really happy with the cornering.
  2. I just finished up a ride on the Aksiums (Really fun 30km with lots of climbing). They ride really nice to me and particularly help the chatter on my aluminium framed Trek. Their price on the Mad Fibers is very very good. I think it's about what I paid. I love my tubulars and they just sound so sexy rolling down the road.
  3. x2. Impressive!
  4. Just packed up everything to go for my first out of work ride since I can't work more than 32 hours a week.... It is looking like rain but I plan to see how well the new fenders work and how good the new wheels feel on my trusty old Trek 1200. I'm thinking a long term project is to upgrade it to SRAM Apex and maybe buy a lighter fork. I think it would be cool to have a "fancy" old crappy Trek.
  5. Pancheros after drinking at the Brown Jug.
  6. Those dates in December don't work for me either as I will have just returned from Barbados. I'll have to live vicariously.
  7. I miss AA sometimes...
  8. Another two hours today wandering around in the area near Mount Vernon. It is so much fun just to go as fast as you want and not be pushing for some average wattage or HR zone.
  9. Was this happening on the Cervelo? I assume so. It can be very difficult to get them to fit and work but without them you are trusting in commercial GPS and trees etc mess with that pretty well.
  10. Jeff that kind of thing is why you should use the speed/cadence sensor. If you have the sensor then it's either not connected or busted.
  11. Five Guys. Awesome.
  12. My record is 12 20oz bottles on one ride (solo century) in the middle of August Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk HD
  13. Nice Jeff! The hills of Rock Creek Park are in for a smack down!
  14. We'll see. I'm getting that sinking feeling about 2 best friends and roommates climbing like that and I am not the only one: http://www.sportsscientists.com Fuck I hate that I have to think this way but...
  15. I think this possibly going to be a boring tour. Sky very rarely goes so hard that they can't recover
  16. Lazy 22 or so today in the afternoon heat
  17. Cool. I think I will have to start doing that. I signed up but never upload anything
  18. Jeff are you using Strava to keep track?
  19. Well since you pulled out the science: it's been pretty conclusively been shown that for human endurance sports humid is slower because we need good heat management to perform over extended periods. Physiological effects overwhelm the physics. Edit: this post of course serves as further proof of my douchiness as confirmed a few pages back.
  20. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/07/automobiles/autoreviews/is-this-bmw-the-ultimate-maxiscooter.html?hpw&_r=0 Saw this and thought of this thread though I don't know if driving a BMW has as much cache in the gay dating game.
  21. Did another 14 miles today in the heat of the day (left house at 1:15 or so). Will try and get another ride in tomorrow afternoon before we head back home tomorrow night. Jeff, I sort of regret not bringing my Calfee. You should break yours out.
  22. Happy birthday!
  23. Great racing so far. Looking forward to tomorrow's stage.
