  1. Wow. You do not mess around. I hope you got the max build. If you didn't you should. I have had 2 hubs fail on my zipps and they are the max build.
  2. New wheels? Which ones?
  3. Happy birthday you two!
  4. Should mention that I did that show a few years back it is a 1 or 2 day show to me. Everyone was super friendly.
  5. Sorry to hear that Vicki. Good luck with the decision. Tough one.
  6. Damn. I wanted a free niner kidding of course. Sorry for the bad info. I did check Wakefield and I could not find any hint of hunting.
  7. Jeff I think Schaeffer Farms is no-hunting and I'm sure Wakefield is. I'd say give Wakefield a try. I'm going to be road riding as much as I can before I get on a plane.
  8. Sorry Jacob that sucks. Me: Spent a few hours going through all the papers in my cube and packing up all my papers. Now in the process of zipping up the electronic stuff I am taking with me and burning it to a metric crap ton of DVDs. I can't just use the 32gb thumb drive because of restrictions. Yay. Zip process is probably going to take until tomorrow.
  9. Yeah. That's the rub. The clothing order just opened and they changed design and supplier. I have a kid on the way that is almost certainly going to mean no racing this year hence Meaghan asks why I am bothering to buy anything (like $500 worth). I ask how long the design is going to last. I asked this because I am hoping that I can race in it next season and basically get "fuck off. You just bought an $$$ bike". Classy
  10. Decided that most of the people in my cycling club/team are dicks. Seriously considering resigning. Why the fuck pay to be a member of a club where all you get out of it is judgment.
  11. I was looking at the candies as the replacement actually so I am glad to hear that they are working for someone.
  12. That sounds about right. I'm probably going to replace them.
  13. I bought crank brothers egg beaters because I thought I would be racing cross soon and for cross they are the standard there. For mtb riding I am thinking that they were not a good purchase.
  14. Congrats to you and your family Al. That is awesome news. Edit: sorry Haj that really sucks
  15. Vicki that would be up to the group but they are some amazing climbs including Paris mountain and Caesar's Head. I think that 3 - 5 hours a day sounds good but I am flexible. We could do 2 rides a day and keep them shorter. A 3 day weekend plus travel time?
  16. Thanks! We are very excited about the new arrival.
  17. May is a no go for me as I am expecting my second kid at the end of month and I don't want to be an 8 hour drive away. That said if your dates etc work best for all involved I am happy to share the routes I rode.
  18. I have ridden out of a hotel in Travelers Rest SC and had a great time. It is near Greenville. March or April would be cool. Interest?
  19. When are you thinking Vicki? I am going to do a couple days riding in San Diego in late February but could be convinced to do a weekend in one of the Carolinas
  20. Jeff. Not sure how big your bike is but it appears that the guy who made my 2 bags has a 29er bag http://pikapackworks.com/mountain-bike-size-chart/
  21. Jeff, probably no go on a mtb but for a road frame I can lend you my wife's normal sized bike bag. On a meet: I would be happy to do a road trip but no mtb trip for me until I get whole lot better on a mtb. I just don't enjoy it enough.
  22. Fair enough. Mavic Ksyrium Elites are great wheels and are bomb proof.
  23. Mike how did you like the FLO wheels?
  24. Great ride this morning with 2 others. We went into DC and rode around by the monuments which was fun. The cold and light rain was less fun. I wish more people rode with rain fenders.
  25. Wow I hope that he shows up. Maybe you could find out if he is going from him. I don't see Vanilla or Serotta listed either which is surprising as they always seem to have large booths.
