  1. Jeff I hope that they are neon green.
  2. Vicki and John: I hope that that you had a great ride. Vicki I hope you love the Calfee. Mike: I totally understand with regards to family stuff taking priority. Sorry to hear about your frame but I trust it was the right decision for you.
  3. And fluid mechanics people too.
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. Nope. 25 years which is close enough. The Crumpton is 10 I think. Calfee is all about service though and I doubt they'd give too much trouble beyond that time.
  6. Jeff good luck with the rides. Embrocation is your friend if you can't find clothing. If you want to come down my way we should ride. Nate, Calfee actually has boron to their tubing and carbon for more crash resistance. That is a large part of what pushed me over the edge. That said hearing that Cervelo is happy with only a few years is crazy.
  7. Stepped on the scale after eating whatever I wanted for 10 days to find 20 more pounds of me.
  8. There is no low end Calfee. Good times.
  9. Carbon does not soften with age. It is particularly used in place of steel in uses where fatigue is an issue. Eg helicopter blades. Welds actually have huge fatigue issues so chances are that you could fatigue a poorly done weld in ti and steel before the carbon. Jeff: what Calfee?
  10. Got up and went swimming at the beach with my family. We have gone swimming at least once a day this entire trip to Barbados. Good times. Back to the cold tomorrow. Then caught up on the Internet and news I have been missing.
  11. Great goals Vicki. I will have to give mine more thought but goal #1 is 185 lbs and I am hoping to do 3 or 4 centuries. With a new kid on the way just as the cycling season really kicks off I don't know what will really happen.
  12. Last day at home before we head out for Christmas and I really wanted to get a ride in outside but it's gusting something like 35mph outside. No riding for me
  13. Awesome Vicki
  14. Jeff I am a fan and run them during the summer. I run Continental gatorskins otherwise and really like them for winter because they deal with road salt very well and don't flat (as much).
  15. Wrench science and competitive cyclist are good online businesses that sell whole bikes. I had a very good experience with Neuvation bikes myself if you are looking for high performance per dollar and don't care about brand.
  16. Nice work all! I am down 70 lbs or so since I started riding a few years back and the latest round is 50 lbs since July.
  17. Screw you Mr Weatherman. You told me it was going to rain so people canceled the shop ride and then it didn't rain all day....
  18. I see that. I was coming back to say that. 250 weight limit instead. Awesome wheels. They have been great with the warranty repair. Edit: I see that they have beefed up the rear hubs to try and prevent cracking. That is what happened to mine. Hope they fixed it.
  19. Wow. You do not mess around. I hope you got the max build. If you didn't you should. I have had 2 hubs fail on my zipps and they are the max build.
  20. New wheels? Which ones?
  21. Happy birthday you two!
  22. Should mention that I did that show a few years back it is a 1 or 2 day show to me. Everyone was super friendly.
  23. Sorry to hear that Vicki. Good luck with the decision. Tough one.
  24. Damn. I wanted a free niner kidding of course. Sorry for the bad info. I did check Wakefield and I could not find any hint of hunting.
