  1. Specialized Romin Pro 143mm width
  2. Thanks all. Super excited for the ride tomorrow morning.
  3. 15lbs 1oz all up with power meter and bottle cages
  4. Congrats again CJ! Good luck Jacob!
  5. Once the shop opens I'll give them a call and see if they have an issue with me hanging out and watching the build. I assume not but I'll make sure. I'm thinking of leaving for the afternoon. I'd already planned on tomorrow off so this works out well. Super excited.
  6. Yup. It will definitely get built for pickup today or tomorrow which is awesome. I was worried that it was going to arrive too late and I'd have to wait until Friday. As a plus the weather is looking awesome!
  7. On the truck for delivery a day earlier than the FedEx estimate
  8. Congrats Crappy that's huge
  9. I announced my transition to the government to my direct reports. Going to be an interesting couple weeks trying to get everything squared away as there isn't a natural replacement here right now so the role is going to have to get split up between at least 2 people..
  10. 25 year warranty I'm checking my tracking number 3x a day.... Mike I think you made the right call. I did my fork through Calfee too for the exact same reason.
  11. Awesome! Me: Another weekend without any riding. I hate this damn cold.
  12. Happy birthday!
  13. That looks like a good time. I would love to do one of those sometime, I never get to the preride bikes because no one ever has my side in stock.
  14. I missread: SRAM Red shifters, RD and Brakes, Force Crank, FD and Cassette. Less of a good deal now but still a good deal: 175mm 53/39 I guess I'm very lucky that the 750 isn't really an issue but to me if you really want a Firelfy I don't see how a 10-15% upcharge (on the bike total cost) isn't worth it. I'm not saying it's worth the upcharge I'm just saying making that decision based on cost doesn't make sense to me.
  15. Happy birthday!
  16. Fair enough Mike, had not looked at DeSalvo for prices, sorry.
  17. Not sure if still available but someone on one of my list serves has a full SRAM Red 2012 kitchen for $750. I would be happy to be a go between if anyone wants.
  18. The stock geometry frame on my Calfee is more than the Titanium Firefly at list price. Not that bad. Not cheap either. Where bikes usually get crazy are the bits and bobs.
  19. Never even heard of Firefly but the IF stuff I have seen is nice. Around here it is Serrotta, Seven, Pegoretti, Guru and Speedvagen. The Speedvagen I saw was downright amazing.
  20. I have a HDFury2 that lets me take the PCM stream off the HDMI out of my Oppo DVD player. Works pretty well and lets me listen to the DSD but with digital equalization.
  21. They do that too Raffy
  22. Raffy Fyi Calfee will make the bike with an extra long head tube for no up charge. The Calfee is about the same as those two as far as cost goes
  23. I was looking at C59 but it turns out that their largest size is still too small for me. My coach loves the Dogma but I am not sure if he still rides it now he got a Super Six Himod. Mike you've got some great thinking to do. Probably made harder by the fact you are choosing between 2 awesome options.
  24. If you don't think it's a "forever" bike that does make the call harder. I had thought you were not into carbon I will let you know on Wednesday about the calfee but I expect to be wowed and don't expect to replace it for a very long time unless technology changes or something. I feel even better about it because my shop decided to become an official stocking dealer out of it.
  25. Sorry about your bike issue Raffy. That just means you need a second backup bike (or 2). Mike, good luck with the decision. I would probably just stick to a road frame that will last forever and then buy a non custom mtb but I am sure others would disagree.
