I don't think I'd ever have become a football fan if it wasn't for the beautiful work Steve and his father Ed did over at NFL Films.

Nothing like the slow-mo cuts, bombastic music and a little John Facenda narration.

For me, it was the great clips of the 1970's John Madden Raiders set to that amazing pirate theme.

RIP....I remember back and realize how much I loved some of those 70's and 80's films when I first saw them......have some of that theme music going through my head now, too....
