I'm interested, schedule at work/home pending. I have jack for headphones anymore but miss my NYC buds.

Hmmm.... depending on when Oz Fest happens, this might be a good chance to get out east and hang with the cool kids.

A little over 2 months to go,This meet is shaping up.

Already replied on the other site, but I'm going to try my damned best to be there.  Just found out my wife is travelling the following week (leaving Sunday), but hoping that won't put a dent in plans....

 

Not sure yet what I'll bring for equipment, but I'll certainly bring some drinking goodness!

The meet is a little over a month away & is shaping up well .If you can make it ,it would be great to hang with you.

19 more days to go, the meet is growing,looks like I will have to add more tables.

1 week to go picked up a few more vendors about 90 members this is going to be a good one,come on down if you can make it.

Sadly it's not looking very good for me right now.  My copilot had to bail out, stupid vacation, and I'm not sure I'm up for doing the 10hr drive in one day and staying down has been ruled out.

I'm coming, though sorry to hear you may miss it Nate.....sounds like what happens to me often before (though my co-pilot is usually my wife, and it's a mattter of her having made alternate flight plans for us)

amazing how few people I recognized from that.

It was actually a pretty nice meet.  I wasn't there for long.  But it seemed pretty low key.  I didn't listen to anything just shot the shit with friends. 

 

It seems like the Meet aspect of the hobby is kind of dying a slow death, which is a shame.

I'm pretty bummed that I couldn't make it down but there was just too much going on around work/home to swing a multi-day trip and I'm getting too old to do the 10hr+ round trip in a single day, solo.  Here's to hoping there's a fall meet and that I'm not as screwed.

I don't know about this ,there was a lot of newbees doing a lot of listening.

Its mostly the oldtimers who socialize more,me included.

Ditto.  It was great to meet some of the folks in person (you especially, Tom).  The one "newbie" I chatted with the most, Vertical, was a little older and a real nice guy.  We talked more about the music and bagels than we did the equipment.
