After using low-end earphones so far, I finally decided to upgrade by buying Harman Kardon's NC. Being new to high-end headphones (or whatever they are) I have a quick question for you audiophiles....

 

 

It seems that sound quality in left and right (irrespective of the song & who is listening i.e. me or my wife) is slightly different. Overall sound quality when listening from both sides is just fine. But, I am wondering, if this imbalance is normal (what do I know about headphones?) OR is it a technical defect?

 

Hoping for some genuine help!

It would help to know if you're left eared or right eared...

Try cooking your meat pies longer.

If you put them on backwards, does the defect follow the driver.

HINT:

You really need to burn them in with a special made wood fire oven for 600 hours before you speculate anything.

 

Also, three in a week? Is that some kind of record?

Not even, when head-fi goes down, we can get three in a day.
