Sherwood Posted July 8, 2014 Report Share Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) They're exclusively FPGAs, as I remember, and have been for some time. No off the shelf DAC chips. Sounds like an incredibly stupid inefficient idea to me, but it does mean that they can claim to have no equal, and it's hard to refute without having to understand something. Also, I dislike the seeds being sown to start differentiating "DoP" from "Native DSD", with the preference being on the latter.
