I was recently at BestBuy looking to purchase some new audio equipment and came across "Headphone amplifiers."  

I had to do some research about what exactly they are and came across this post-

I'm just curious about what constitutes a good headphone amp and should I purchase one.

    This is the best headphone amp $ can buy and it is currently on sale at best buy I believe. It does require a 1.21 giga-watt power supply though, so keep that in mind.

    I highly recommend my portable headphone amp. It's a few years older than some current portable amps, but they don't give me the same warm sensation...
