October 21, 20178 yr Thank you everyone. It was a great day. My sister (the Alaskan one, not the Californian one) was coincidentally in from out of town, so I pretty much spent the day with her -- she took me to Perfect Pour where I got my (currently) favourite whisky -- the West Virginian Smooth Ambler Contradiction (although I was hoping for 3 bottles, they only had the one), so I got a few other things. Then I had a delicious samosa made with curried potatoes and a superb chicken vindaloo. Now I'm winding down with an episode of Knucks's radio show. AND NO SHITTING MYSELF! So all in all, a good day.
