With millions of tubes in stock, I was always under the impression that his amps were just a way to get people to buy tubes from him.

With millions of tubes in stock, I was always under the impression that his amps were just a way to get people to buy tubes from him.

While he does have all those tubes, I just chalk that up as a business opportunity that couldn't be passed up. That said, I do believe his primary aim is to build amps, not sell tubes.

A lot of those tubes are not audio tubes. One large grouping is voltage regulator and rectifier tubes. Another large group is the sub-minatures. The tube regulators and rectifiers can be used but I dont know what he will end up doing with sub-minatures.

Keep in mind that Mikhail really isn't a tube dealer, so it's almost to be expected that his prices are higher than others.
