Great! Thanks Grawk!

because I'm an idiot, duh!

I think we're all a little obsessive compulsive here. ;)

Here are The Tubes fagging out, not that there's anything wrong with that. :P

Actually, somewhere at my house I have a autographed copy of their promo photo, and Re Styles "signed" it with a big lipstick kiss.

That's happened to me twice, with 2 different Tung-Sol 6sn7 tubes - the expensive kind

It was the right triode heater that went out in both cases. One of them tested and played OK afterwards (in a different amp), which is consistent with your tube showing life after death. Haven't used it again, though. The other tube never came back.

Dan you missed this one.

well thanks guys. My tubes can't stop fagging off after reading this thread. Now the inside of my amp is coated in semen and santorum.

well does anybody want to buy a slightly used mosfet/tube hybrid amp that is filled to the brim with cum and santorum? I give it a conservative 9.5/10 on the audiogon scale. Shall we start the bidding at 10 X 31000 dollars?

It's better to burn out than to fag away.

A fag in the hand is worth two in the bush.

This thread just got a whole lot better.
