May 4, 200818 yr lameness: I have the PS3 version. The night I picked it up, I only played long enough to save at the apartment. Today I finally had some free time to play, but the game just sits at the loading game screen, even after completely uninstalling the game and reinstalling =/
May 4, 200818 yr Do you have a 60gig ps3? That seems to be the one having the most problems with it. If you haven't already I'd make sure you have the latest firmware update.
May 4, 200818 yr I've read that...I actually have a 40gig one, though. I just read that disabling your network connection (wired or wireless) is allowing many to play. I'll try that when I get home.
May 4, 200818 yr Disabling the network interface lets me play, so that's cool. Still lame, but at least I can play.
May 5, 200818 yr So I played the game (360) for a bit at a friend's place. I had never played any of the GTA games before, and the IV was a whole lot of fun. It made me want to go out and buy myself a PS3.
May 9, 200818 yr Another plus for PS3, at least for me, is that it can play Japanese PS3 games as well as US PS3 games due to the BluRay region code.
