GTA IV

I'm definitely stoked about it...of course, since I live in the middle of nowhere I probably won't get a hold of a copy until Thursday.

Does anyone know if there's any substantial differences between the 360 and the ps3 versions (not counting the additional content the 360 will get down the road)??

I think the exclusive DLC for 360 is the only difference.

Thanks Deepak. That's good to know.

man this game rocks

and yes, that's all for now

EDIT: so what's the deal with the dlc for xbox 360? never heard of this difference, anyone care to explain?

I'm looking forward to the returns on my Take2 stock options.

MS paid rockstar/take2 about $50 million for exclusive future content. Most likely it'll be additional "chapters" to the single player story that you'll of course have to purchase through xbox live.

ah i see. meh, i doubt i'd pay for the exclusive stuff anyway. thanks for that tkam.

anyways, the ps3 version looks simply amazing on my 1080i lcd tv. gameplay is phenomenal. addicting as all hell.

i'm going to get back to my game. ;D

considering your scrobbler, JBL, you need to fucking listen to more music and play fewer video games.

I listen to plenty of music, but I'm never home. My zen doesn't scrobble.

lameness: I have the PS3 version. The night I picked it up, I only played long enough to save at the apartment. Today I finally had some free time to play, but the game just sits at the loading game screen, even after completely uninstalling the game and reinstalling =/

I've read that...I actually have a 40gig one, though. I just read that disabling your network connection (wired or wireless) is allowing many to play. I'll try that when I get home.

So I played the game (360) for a bit at a friend's place. I had never played any of the GTA games before, and the IV was a whole lot of fun. It made me want to go out and buy myself a PS3.

Another plus for PS3, at least for me, is that it can play Japanese PS3 games as well as US PS3 games due to the BluRay region code.
