Its been way too long since I have seen any of you guys. Last time we drank together was actually my 21st birthday over a year ago! I am finishing finals on Dec 21st and would love to get a drink with all of you local troublemakers. Lets plan what day works best for everyone and do something before the year ends. For the folks here who don't follow H-F, this is shaping up to be a very nice meet: Montreal meet at the FSI show! The Festival Son & Image is a big hi-fi expo held in Montreal every year that lasts 4 days (3 open to the public). We'd get an occasion this year to have a free booth for headphone enthusiasts sponsored by Sennheiser where we could expose our gear. It's still in preliminary stage of planning and I don't have anything to do with the organization of the meet this time, but it seems like a great occasion to promote the hobby in a speaker environment (and accept how inferior headphones are compared to good speaker setups ).

I'm in the early stages of planning for a meet at my school, Rose-Hulman Inst. of Tech. in Terre Haute, Indiana. I've already posted this over on the 'Fi, but I thought it'd be a good idea to get some 'Casers there too! I'm still working on reserving a conference room, but I'd like to know if anyone here is interested, so I can gauge about how many people will show up.

As stated above a meet in the Netherlands. There's a thread going on at the forum linked to below (probably familiar by many of you ) and the gear that will be present is quite interesting. I haven't noticed the existence of any Manitoba head-casers besides myself, but in case it's relevant to anyone here, there is a meet this Sunday (ie. in three days) in Winnipeg at 2 pm. My family and I are heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul for a concert on April 6, and staying for a few days. I don't know if any of the regulars here are from the Twin Cities, but if anyone wants to grab a beer, let me know.

I was curious if anyone here is from New Orleans. I am guessing not, but who knows. I am hoping to put a local meet together sometime. I am not sure when, but my guess is that it will not be for at least a few months. If you are from the area, come say hello.
