I put on my investigator hat and solved the case of the missing trash can lid. For those still on the edges of their seats. The lid was found and using an 8’ Heavy swimbait pole rigged with a GoPro case I was able to cast, first try, the case right into the middle of the floating lid and reel it back to the edge of the lake where Kasia retrieved it with a stand up paddle board paddle.

All the Samples From Mars are available for $39 right now. I just bought them. My Deluge plays multisamples, and I'd like to get another device that will do it too - I'll probably try out a Raspberry Pi for this at some point.

I have actually replaced all my LG OLEDs now with Sony's. I got what appeared to be darker areas along thin lines in the middle of the screen on two. As they all seem to use the same panels as the Sony, I have to assume it might be assembly quality. I hate the shitty operating system on the Sony but the picture is much better and so far no issues on any of them. Whatever Sony does with the picture seems to be better for me.

Going with the opposite ratio in the bedroom setup. Obviously, I need to even everything up and get my cables lengthened and organized differently, but this setup is incredibly satisfying.

Well, things have gone absolutely pear shaped here in scenic western MA. I was due to have my chimney serviced on the 4th. That's in two days. I just called and cancelled that appointment. I can't use my wood stove until it IS serviced, so once again my house Castle Ballfreeze.* Worse still, I currently have no one to plow my driveway. The company (a one man operation) I used most recently completely ceased returning my calls a while back. I paid him cash on site when he did show up, so I haven't the foggiest what is his major malfunction. You can imagine what it's like trying to find a new outfit to plow right in the middle of an early and massive blizzard. Fun times ahead! * An ancient GoT reference.
