Industry I started watching this in the beginning and kind of thought of it as junk in the beginning. A bunch of new hires in a London bank/brokerage vie for permanent positions. Someone described the show as a cross between Euphoria and Succession, and can kind of see that analogy. It is in Season 4 now, and has gotten much much better. A lot of very unlikeable self-centered people, but for some reason I enjoy watching it. Kinda like waiting for the next car crash.

Oh yeah! And Jodie Whitaker and the rest of the Latimer family. Every time they cut to the family, just..."WHO IS CHOPPING ONIONS?!"

I think you're safe. It's a step down soundwise, and it doesn't have the 1/4 inch thick casing. It would be convenient with the headphone amp, but I usually find those tacked on amps to be lacking.

Cooked yesterday in a marathon session so that dinner was a non-event (prep wise) tonight. Chicken shawarma with homemade naan. The naan was all I managed a pic of.

Too far down the road of downgrading? loading second stage down with resistors, loop gain went from 65dB to 25dB, thd will increase by more than an order of magnitude. No idea how much would be the sweet spot subjectively but can possibly be further tweaked. FET output, linearity not as good as triple BJT, just bc still try to cut corner on size... A quick search suggest lateral FET pretty much went extinct, for vertical ones should probably change vbe multiplier to something TO-126 and also put on heatsink?
