Damn, those things are huge! I'm glad you got them - I was this close to pulling the trigger since the seller was only about an hour away - my wallet thanks you for your continued effort to revitalize the economy.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I recently picked up a Kenwood KT-7300 tuner to listen to local NPR stations, only to find that their signal is too week to come in clearly at my home. On that end, I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with Magnun Daynalab SR-100? It's not too expensive ($35) and, amazingly enough, my local RatShack stores had no FM dipoles in stock. The sales folks looked up me bit oddly when I asked about FM dipole/antenna - I'm wondering when was the last time they had someone come in looking for one.

Just got back from taking care of our marriage license. Took the day off so I can sit at home and be unproductive while new furnace gets installed.

Went to work, bit of a hectic day there, but got all the paperwork I needed to finish before the long weekend. Came home to find I've missed the mailman (i.e., missed a delivery from HeadAmp) by few minutes. Oh, and opened a PayPal dispute for the first time.

They're Camden Leather Sandals from L.L. Bean. Camden Sandals, Leather: Sandals and Water Shoes at L.L.Bean They're pretty comfy, at least while trying them at the store and walking around my house. I can't wear them out yet since I bought them for my wedding.

I just realized that I've had his SR-Ω/T2 website bookmarked for couples of years and never went to his DIY stat page. As for his CNC machine, the thing costs ~$8K. Purchased mainly to make his own stats.

I've quickly looked through the rest of his blog, but didn't find anything about the aluminum reinforcement specific to the Omega hybrid.
