  1. Just learned that the battery charger for my camera is dead. Not the greatest of the timing either since my brother's college graduation is tomorrow and both of my batteries are half empty. I can't go out and find one either since I'm at my parents place (i.e., no real electronic/camera shops anywhere near). I think this is the first time I've ever had a battery charger die on me.

I really liked that show. I should start watching Louie.

  10. That sucks, Dan. Were you able to at least schedule a new appointment with someone who can help a non-senior get health insurance? On a somewhat related note, it's an open enrollment time at my work/city and there are 12 different insurance options for no apparent reason. I've never any work offer more than 3 different insurance options.
  11. Considering the problems you've had with Adorama, I don't know why you went back to them for printing job. Of course, this also means the rest of us will have trouble-free experience with Adorama since you seem to be a magnet for issues with Adorama.
  12. This is one of the reasons I tried contacts in the past. It didn't keep, though. Now I just adjust the viewfinder to my eyesight and take off my glasses.
  13. Just noticed today that something's been going on with my iTunes library and random tracks have gone completely missing. It appears to have been going on for a while since I can't find the missing tracks in any of my backups. Argh.
  14. My condolences, Mikey.
  15. Started the process of migrating iTunes library/media files to a new drive - I really wish I had USB3.
  16. It saddens me that this thread is still active 3 days away from May.

Damn, when did these go up so much in price? I remember paying less than $50 for the pair I had.
  18. What were you using before, Dinny? From my experience, I liked the AF on D700 better, though I suspect some of it may be D600's much higher pixel count exposing my mistakes.
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. Came back home today from a mini vacation. Before we left for the mini vacation, I re-caulked our bathtub, which I had done couple times in the past with success. Well, I did something wrong this time around so I get to fix that first thing tomorrow. Argh.
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. I do use Eneloops, but still doesn't change the fact Magic Trackpad burns through batteries quickly. I still got two wired Trackmans I use. I also have a wireless Trackman somewhere but I lost the receiver for that one.
  23. Vertical Mouse have both good ol' wireless as well as Bluetooth models. Though from what I've read, the wireless/Bluetooth connections are less than reliable (one of the reasons I didn't end up getting one). The Magic Trackpad also burns through batteries rather quickly, though I still like using it when I'm not using my trackballs.
