I just uploaded few pics into the image gallery here and noticed "Gallery Image" button while replying to a thread. I clicked on the button, but I get a new window with the following message and I can't get at any images. Am I doing something wrong? Fatal Gallery2 Error: Cannot get the Gallery2 ID for this file. Going out on Black Friday just isn't worth it in my experience. In the previous years, I've been able to find as good or better bargains online without all the hassle. I plan on locking myself up in my apartment listening to my headphones all day long.

The main reason I haven't re-acquired a pair. Of course, a part of me wonders if it's just the aging that's making the noticeable differences, or differences in the drivers.

Am I going shopping on Black Friday? FUCK NO.

In my defense, mine did not have any dings. Or tack residue for that matter since I figured out a way to secure c-pads without using sticky tacks.

Yep. Now it's indexing the hard drive, which I suspect will finish sometime in the next century.

So as a last ditch effort, I attempted to restart my iBook from the Leopard disc to do a re-install. For whatever reason, that seems to have worked as I type this from the iBook. I hate computers.

Just realized that Pithhelmet beta for Leopard is up now. Yay.

I thought of that, but as you have stated, it is a huge pain to take the iBook apart, and it is no longer that critical I have a laptop - it was just really convenient.

At least I still have my iMac. I'll just have to contend with having no laptop for now.

Well, it turns on, but it either refuse to start altogether (while being still powered-on) or starts on the command prompt screen, from which point if I try to proceed with the boot, it kernel panicks. One good thing is that it gives me an excuse to buy a new laptop. Of course, the bad thing is that I have no money to do so right now.

Well, I think I've killed my iBook. Leopard installation eventually went through, then it kernel panicked on me. Then proceeded not to work anymore. Tried re-installing Tiger to no avail. Of course, this may have had nothing to do with Leopard installation since I know there was at least some physical damage on iBook logic board where the Airport card is located.

We shall see. If it sucks, I'll just wipe and reinstall Tiger, since I have all pertinent data backed up anyways.

I decided to install the Leopard onto my iBook. So far it's taking forever.

I know a pair with brown headband, most likely original flats without packaging went on A'gon for $450 recently. This probably won't help, but used newer RS-1's (not the new new one without wooden buttons) have been going on Head-Fi for ~$500 - $550.

Jeebus. No wonder I can't keep up with the new posts.
