I wish I was getting a raise this year, but since the state froze (again and again) the tuition for special education private schools (effectively not increasing our budget for few years running now), no raise will be coming. All this while public schools, which basically contracts us to take on the most severe cases, are not going through the same thing. I really need to change my profession.

Finally got through processing photos from the past couple of months, most of them of my kid. I sure hope the grandparents are happy that they're done. Now I just need to stay on top of them so I don't end up with piles and piles of unprocessed photos.

Not that anyone cares, but I've decided on RS-7 over RS-Sport. As falkon pointed out, that'll give me an option of adding a storage if I want and also, the quick-release buckle on RS-7 would allow me to easily wear it with my sling-o-matic bag whereas RS-Sport (or RS-5, for that matter) will require some finagling that'll be hard to do when I'm out and about. Oh, and RS-Sport is friggin' bulky when compared to RS-7.

That one's RS-5, iirc. I'm trying to figure out if I want to get RS-5 which comes with extra storage, or RS-Sport which supposedly is bit more comfortable but doesn't have the storage. Of course, Black Rapid is out of stock on RS-5, so if I go that route, I'd have to wait a while. EDIT - Jeff, is one of the pockets on RS-5 big enough to hold iPhone 4 in Otterbox Defender case (assuming you still have the Defender case)?

Tried out Lu.ma Loop strap for the day. While I liked some things about it, it wasn't a winner overall. I'm going to return it and give a Black Rapid strap a shot, I think.

Dropped my wife's car off for a service. Between the regular maintenance, new tires, and couple of additional things they've found, it's going to cost us over $1200. I hate cars.

I know plenty of people with intechangeable lens camera that knows nothing about sensor size and I'm sure gadget lovers will gobble them up.
