Is that British food or prison food? Did you make Joanne mad?

Ira Einhorn, is that you?

About two weeks ago I finished up a job (I'm now on a new job). The homeowner Chris always had a nice plaid shirt on. We got to talking about plaid collections. Although mine was much bigger, he had all Pendleton wool plaid shirts. Very nice plaid shirts, for those not in the know. Today my boss met with Chris and his wife. Pretty much a final meeting. Chris asked him to give me a box. This was the box... Pendleton has many styles. My favorite being the "Board" edition. It's a casual style, not too western looking. And made to be worn untucked. A beautiful Board edition! These are in the $150 neighborhood. I love my job!

To elaborate I was standing on the chair, using it as a ladder. The seat caved in under me. But still pretty stupid.

I once fell off of a chair and my hand came down on a stagnant chain saw that was setting on the floor. It made a 1/2" cut in my hand, not too deep. It did however leave a small but noticeable scar. When showing that scar, I refer to it as my "chainsaw accident". You can now show your scar and refer to it as your "shaving accident".

You're going to have to move it into your kitchen. It's too nice to work on. The dogs will help you set the dinner plates the right spacing apart.

Yep, Golden Gate Park. Funny thing about Suzy... She's been walking in circles for a while now. She just keeps going over the same area over and over, and at somewhere other than home she will do it for hours. Even at familiar places like Al's house. She'll do it until she's so tired She'll just drop. At home She'll do it as well, but just for shorter bursts of time. Then she'll jump on the couch next to me and nap. Today, before heading to GG Park, we bought her a new harness, because her old one is way too big now. And as soon as we got to the sight of the game, she started doing circles. But today she did circles around the young children of my co-workers. She used to be afraid of young kids, but today she not only circled them, which they thought was funny and great, but she actually sought out their attention. She let all of them walk her around on her leash, even to the point where she couldn't see me anymore. That would have been unheard of just a few months ago. It's really funny how the brain works, or changes. At 14 years old she's completely different than the dog I knew so well. Still as sweet and bonded to me as ever, but discovering new sides of herself. It's a journey we're both opening ourselves up to.

Had a company soccer match/B-B-Q. We played against the plumbers. Had company jerseys and all. Great fun. I cheered from the sidelines with Suzy helping to motivate. Suzy had a well deserved nap on the way home.

That's it exactly. You need to buff off all of the excess after how ever many minutes stated on the label. Al uses a buffing pad on his Festool orbital sander. That works nicely.

Next year you'll officially be an old dude. Live it up this year! Have a great day Doug! Do something fun today!

And what is wrong with that?

From what you have there, Tried & True, not even an option in my mind.

Awesome bench!

Not sure what's happening Jeff. I've used mine on the track with great results.

How many different pasta attachments does it come with?

The other parts arrived early enough for me to head back to Milo's to finish up the build. This jig works really well. Nice and smooth. No weird glitches, like some homemade jigs. And it produces a beautiful, low angle pocket. The brass guide does a fantastic job of placing the screw exactly where it needs to be. Impressive! Thanks again Naaman!

So, I was mentioning how Capt. Whirlygig CNC'd me the parts to build the same pocket screw jig that he built recently. The ping ponged parts made the job really easy! It went together quickly and accurately. Thanks Naaman! The toggle clamp, safety switch and spiral bit arrive later today, so I'll get those attached next weekend and take it on a maiden voyage. It's a two action setup. The router bit cuts the pocket, then you use a small drill bit to cut the screw hole. You can see the brass guide for the 5/32" drill bit. A nice smooth operation.

Sounds like a large washer might work. I bet someone could ping pong something for you.

Especially the addition of the beautiful galvanized metal corner brackets.

We've all heard that storing oily rags can be a fire hazzard. I believed this, but thought it to be something that would need just the right circumstances, and was pretty unlikely. I found this video completely eye opening and frightening. This is vastly more likely to happen than I ever believed. From today on I will take the way I handle these finishing rags much more serious. Even with the fire resistant can, I would store it outside. But as Doug has stated to me, storing them in a closed canister full of water, and making sure the rags are completely submerged is a safer way to deal with them.

This is a must watch for anyone with a shop or garage...

swt61 replied to Mabus's topic in Headphones
I'd like to help but I bought the electrostatic headphones best suited to polka and Carol Channing vocals.
