  1. Kevin, care to share a few common output cap values. Say the value used in the hornet or something? I'm going to test a few of these for shits and giggles, see what I measure.
  2. And call me crazy, but $50 for a mini^3 (under my iron) or $125 from Rockhopper is a MUCH better deal for a better amp.

  5. I love the madness of your projects.
  6. x2 He's also pretty pathetic for making that his avatar.
  7. Damn, I just got my replacement A3, lol. Good thing I took your advice, Todd, and went dual format with my PS3
  8. Nate, it seems to happen in just about one month cycles. I think we know EXACTLY what is going on here.

Oh I didn't mean to compare the caffeine content, just that I LOVE coffee, and tea is no coffee. I'm not going to ween, just stop. I don't remember the last time I stopped, but IIRC the headaches went away after about a week. I don't know if it'll take that long, even. I only drink about a cup or two a day as it is.
  10. Well, I guess that is what Steve Hoffman suggested. Using the ipod as a mass storage device, and interfacing with it that way.

I'm pretty sure its the caffeine, cause for multiple days I'll have energy drinks, etc. and I'm fine. Tea just isn't the same Oh well, I'd rather not feel like crap, and just enjoy coffee once in a while. It's wierd actually, I'm not very sensitive to caffeine.
  12. I'm sure the MSB actually modifies hardware: taps the digital line going to the DAC, and brings that out for play time. Something seems odd with the Wadia. I guess the mass storage thing is plausible...

  14. I was going to mention that, but Wadia claims the first for the entire ipod range, including the touch. The MSB doesn't do that.

Don't tempt me. I love, love coffee; but I originally cut it out because of this crap. Its just not worth having a headache for 70% of my awake time, and waking up with heartburn repeatedly throughout the night. When I cut out daily coffee drinking, I don't get any of this.
  16. Or remove the fan, and throw it outside you Mainah.
  17. There's a name for that: EQ

And my heartburn has been back in full force. It's just not worth this. I love coffee, but this is pathetic.
  19. I believe you were on LSD, not listening to a 2 channel setup.
  20. Wow. I have heard a good 7 channel, and I have a decent two channel setup. There is no comparison for movies. I am once again convinced your ears are shit. Granted I much prefer 2 chan for music (unless it a cool DVD-A dic like the Blue Man discs), but 2 channel doenst hold a candle in a movie environment.

Fuck. You know, I cut coffee out of my diet for a reason. For the past month or two I had been having a cup every morning. Now I didn't want any for the past few days, and I have the worst fucking headache. I'll just stop again, I think.
  22. For movies? Sorry buddy.
  23. On a 102" screen.. that's at my buddies house
