  1. Mobile users should now be able to get the desktop version by selecting the 'Desktop View' theme. It's a direct copy of the default theme with responsiveness turned off.
  2. It's not hard - the big star icon at the very top of the page.
  3. Highly doubting any data was lost, possibly different number of pages due to all the posts/threads being rebuilt. So if there had been lots of deletions over the years in that thread, the rebuild would have reset the post count for the thread to how many posts actually exist right now, which would in turn change the number of pages. Also, I made several changes last night, mostly server config changes to help with overall speed and such of the site so that should be better now.
  4. If nothing else I'd recommend you buy a modem to save money. Comcast charges $6 - $10 a month for renting the modem. Here's what I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0063K4NN6
  5. You can count me in.
  6. This should now be fixed for all users.
  7. Not able to replicate that at all, only thing I can recommend is to try clearing your browser cache and make sure the browser is up-to-date.
  8. Should have more control over notification settings now, a few of the settings that were locked out I opened up for users to change them. Getting to the last post of a thread is easy, just click on the date/time show below the last poster's username. Taking a look into the emoticon thing, all the old ones are still there, they are in fact in the only emoticon category there is. I'll see if it's possible to change the editor to default to the category instead of the overview which only shows the system default ones. The themes are responsive now, so I'm not sure it'll be possible to force the desktop site on mobile devices. It's on my list of things to take a look at.
  9. Being able to see who liked a post may not be fixed for everyone. The software isn't letting me save the setting after enabling it on certain custom user groups, I've filed a support ticket about the issue and will see if it's a simple fix or not. Per the 'Spectrum' theme, the background does change color throughout the day, it's supposed to mimic the time of day. That's actually one of the settings I was thinking of disabling, but it sounds like I should leave it turned on :).
  10. The ability to see who has liked a post instead of just the number of likes should be working again now.
  11. Logo back in place d-_-b
  12. All the old emoticons were successfully brought over.
  13. E-mail notifications were broken, they should be working again correctly now.
  14. Tapatalk now installed again for those that wish to use it. The regular themes are now responsive and should look much better on mobile devices than the older versions did.
  15. Dark theme added, it's called 'Spectrum', I haven't looked into any of it's settings yet will get to that soon enough.
  16. Good news, the background processes took less time than expected and have all finished running. This means that search, attachments, etc, etc should all be functioning correctly now. I'll look at adding Tapatalk and a dark theme back over the next few days.
  17. FYI - one of the things broken currently is how quoted posts show up. I wasn't aware that would happen so figured I'd mention it now, as it could easily make things difficult to read. It should clear up once the background processes finish running. They are progressing pretty nicely so far.
  18. ......Upgrade complete. The background tasks are now running, during which time a whole bunch of things won't work right. Basic functionality like posting should work ok.
  19. Upgrade starting shortly.......
  20. Very happy with Windows 10 so far, I've upgraded all my machines and the process was quick and painless.

    Thanks everyone
  22. Tomorrow starting at approximately 9PM EST I will be performing a major upgrade of the forum software. The new version is a complete rewrite of the forum software from the ground up, so there are many, many changes to it. Due to this the upgrade itself will possibly take several hours during which time the forums will be inaccessible. Once the upgrade is done there are several background tasks that must finish to restore fully functionality of the site. These tasks could take anywhere from 24-48 hours to complete. During that time the following features will be not function correctly: search, attachments, embedded videos, and some images, etc. The tapatalk app and the dark theme will also not be available during that time period. I'll update this thread once the work begins to keep everyone updated on the progress of everything. Thanks Your Friendly Neighborhood Admin

100% agree with the above, I've had my pair for a few weeks now and they are quite nice. Very comfy, lightweight with a pleasing bass heavy sound and extremely easy to drive.
  25. I appreciate the Dr. Who mention in the FAQ
