Didn't know about those or I could have waited but the A5X is probably my best audio purchase so far.

What an amazing album with great vocals for my psychedelic needs.

I must say I'm really surprised with their sound. The soundstage and immersion its something really weird in the good way. The stereo image is amazing when in the sweespot, it kinda feels like a headphone. These are very detailed, the hights extend well but I can listen to them for hours and hours and never get ear fatigue. Maybe the most satisfying sound so far for me, including the headphones, I like it.

I believe you tried an older version. It has 2 boxes that correspond to other 2 boxes(files). You can play the 4 boxes then guess which is which. -

This should help to compare the different resamplers, sox is regarded as one of the best I think. http://src.infinitewave.ca/ -

Have you heard this Smyth Research Realiser?
Spychedelic Whale replied to Spychedelic Whale's topic in Headphones
In my case I would only use it connected to the headphones from the PC hdmi so would be more user friendly. The guy says the toslink output doesn't bypass the effects since he used a perfectwave dac with him, mmm.. -

Thanks. Not a very uplifting impression for sure . This one has the HDMI input and it's firmware is upgradeable, the last one solved the preset issue it seems. "For presets, PRIR and HPEQ files are automatically saved to non-volatile memory when loaded, and preset erasures are also non-volatile. Parameters remain volatile until a preset is saved." If there's no way of using the computer with the hdmi then it's mostly a no go, what a same.. but would you say the limitation of using its dac was noticeable ? -

I recall some one who bough a smyth few months ago, Ric I believe, any impressions so far ? There's one FS and I'm getting tempted but having only an HDMi input is really a killer.. Would work with the hdmi ouput from a videocard or I would need some sort of converter ? -

I share the same thoughts you do k3,although I didn't hear the 007 from any diy amp. I really liked the lcd2 tonality and for the used price was ok if it wasn't for the stupid headband system for such a heavy headphone which is unacceptable uncomfortable for something this pricey. Still waiting for a proper one.. which may not happen.

That must be photoshop, even for fox news that would be to bad.

Thanks for the correction, I always mix those up.. Right but before the tazzer they got things done. It can permanently injury or kill, this wasn't a dange situation and certainly shouldn't be used on some one that is going on a psychotic break.

What's up with cops now tazing everybody.. Can't they use their force to arrest an unarmed chick or its to old school?
