I'm with you Guillaume. And I think it's very close to the O2 KGSS combo. But I think that IEMs benefit from just a bit more of a bump. But it's just a matter of taste. The JH 21.2 should do the trick.

Just a quick note. I just got home after a 2.5 hour bus ride. I listened to the JH13 straight from the iPhone for about 1/3 of it. The time whizzed by. One thing I've noticed about the JH13 is the immersive quality of it. I can really zone out with these things. But they're not in the least bit boring. And the soundstage is unlike any I have heard. That's part of what I mean when I say "immersive." I don't feel like I'm in the audience. I feel like I'm on the fucking drum kit. That's awesome.

good god, I feel awful today. Spent a very fun night with my wife and parents. But paying the price today, as the Little Monkey thought it appropriate to wake up at 6:45. Still, worth it to see my mom rock out to Rock Band.

On vacation. Needed to do work. Turned out to be much more work than client let on, and it was a half-assed piece that was turned in to me for review. Fucking typical. Plugged in the JH13s to the iPhone for some tunes while ripping the document to shreds. Normally I get distracted by headphones while working. Not tonight. The JH13s got me in the zone, so to speak. I don't have much to say about them specifically in terms of sonics other than they made it enjoyable to smack around a piece of shit work product. Still wondering about the fit, but it's close and I still have a cold. The JH13s are good.

Mellow day with the (sane) in-laws. Brunch at our place, dinner at my mother-in-law's. We were at my dad's (huge, crazy) family gathering last night, so it's a good balance. Overall a very nice holiday. The Triple.fi 10 recipients (my wife, brother, and sis-in-law) were pretty psyched.
