I do believe that using the Realiser/JH13 combo would blow my damn fool head off.

I love how pro-corporation the membership is at macrumors. Although they bristle if you ever make that observation, of course. Think different indeed.

Good question. iirc (it's been a while), the original mini-series was much more '80s camp than that. In other words, I don't recall much of a them other than, "whoa! Aliens!" That said, I think there probably is a fair amount of Cold War imagery in the old one. It's more good bad than actually good.

I never had them silly. I bought them, packaged them up with other headphones, generated a certificate of authenticity, securitized them and sold the new securities to investors. The actual headphones will stay locked in a vault somewhere.

When I listened to both side by side out of the Luxman, I actually preferred the 9, but that was under meet conditions and not a very long comparison.
