Silver lining here. Better that they get it out of their systems now than come down with it on the plane. My wife and son are going out to California next week with my mother-in-law and sis-in-law to see the 149 year old grandmother. About 10 minutes before I saw your post, stretch, I told my wife that she should be prepared for a stomach virus to hit 12-24 hours before wheels up.

My wife (through her company) has been doing some work with iPhone apps. She's the biz dev side, not the programming side. How difficult would it be for someone with no prior programming experience to learn programming for iPhone apps?

I got the same communication. Glad they are clearing it up. Not so glad that they don't acknowledge that their original instructions are wrong.

I'm a cable skeptic, but I don't begrudge those who think they make enough of a difference to go with an expensive cable. However, I do have a problem with people who spend more on cables than their gear because, as guzzi says, they're "magic." Even then, of course, people are free to do as they please. But when we are subjected to their bullshit impressions, it bugs me. Especially since less experienced or more gullible posters are susceptible to such impressions.

That's because you haven't spent a few grand on cables and a few hundred on amps.
