Got up. Had coffee & bagel. Sent Mrs Monkey and the little one to a birthday party. Threw in some laundry. Still have headache. MRI revealed some possible slight swelling of an area near pituitary. Sounds scary as all hell, but doctor (whom I trust despite his slight dickishness) is not worried at all even if it is the case. Says meds will take care of it quickly. Need another MRI, though, before diagnosis can be made. Talking to doctors makes me a better lawyer. Reminds me to take the time to explain shit to clients even when I think things are perfectly obvious and clear.

I still don't get what the fuck this Bel Canto unit does that's so great (according to Bel Canto, at least).

Didn't see it on the site, so I just emailed them.

I'll just throw them in the freezer.

Went to the doctor for the headache. He didn't seem too worried, but saw a "little swelling behind [my] eyes," (??) so he sent me for an MRI. His initial diagnosis is migraine, but I call back tomorrow morning. The MRI tech (forgive me if that is not what they are called) was very good and obviously had experienced his share of freak-outs. But I've had several MRIs, and with constant putting out fires at work and a 2 1/2 year old at home, 25 minutes in the MRI machine was kind of relaxing.

As stated in title, if I can build an interconnect, can I make a power cable? Anything special I need to know so that I don't burst into flames?

Where are you buying online? As for Russian Imperial Stouts, I liked the Brooklyn Black Ops I had the other day.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I think the ECD-1 could be the better match, but I'll need to do a head-to-head when I get the KGSS back. To me, the north star is a bit brighter than the ECD-1.

I noticed this when I had my KGSS DX working. The brightness really surprised me (as did the even deeper bass). In fact, I was so surprised by it, that I am reconsidering my decision to keep my north star m192 over my Electrocompaniet ECD-1. I think with the ss amp in the path, the warmer DAC may be necessary.
