Yeah the reason they're starting in 2008 is because there is a summer movie. Either straight to TV or straight to DVD. I watched the first two seasons as they aired, so I'm really fuzzy on details, I guess that's why I'm going to watch the DVDs

I take this back. I've heard II a few more times and I really enjoy it. Also I should have bumped and posted this earlier but Newburry Comics was taking preorders on Fear of a Blank Planet and were offering signed booklets. I hope some of you might have saw this at other forums (Steve Hoffman) and were able to get one. I can't wait till it gets here, less than a month away

My guess is the sound I was enjoying had more to do with it being vinyl than just high res.

I'm listening to a 24/96 needle drop of Black Sabbath's Paranoid. Exceptional drop from the first pressing of the USA vinyl. Comparing it to my retail CD (which is also an early pressing really good quality) and the difference is great. Hearing the impact from the drums, and weight to the electric guitar As if 300-500 mb FLAC rips weren't big enough

Thoughts? Where should I start? Worth listening to?

You'll probably get more answers in the Stax thread. But the amps that I heard were integrateds (~10-20 watt) with lambda pros and sr-404 and they didn't sound very good at all.

You'll need a hell of a power amp if you want to use Stax/transformer box/amp. Otherwise the bass is going to be severely rolled off and lacking in punch. Unless you have said power amp I think the Stax amps/KGSS would be a much better value.

SPOILERS Callie (spelling) is Chief's wife. As for their reaction when they found out they were cylons, most of them were like .... "meh" what the hell? I didn't think it was a very good episode. Nice to hear a cover of a Hendrix song at the end though. My prediction is the president is a cylon. Also 2008 that's so far away.... SPOILERS
