  1. I'm more concerned about when search will return TBH, which I've been using a lot recently.
  2. I blame Marc for this
  3. Todd, in thread search doesn't seem to be working. It just defaults back to the thread listing when trying to search within a thread.
  4. Agreed (couldn't stand that wall of sound, with no space). And every pair I owned eventually developed the high frequency squeal.
  5. That's true, doing it for me as well. That takes me to a random page. For example I have read all the new posts in the "buying thread", now absorbine_sr makes a new post. I click the time he posted in "view new content" and it takes me to a page 2 pages before his post (page with shelly's liquor purchases).
  6. View new content working again makes reading the forums glorious
  7. Music Matters 45 rpm vinyl
  8. Happy birthday!
  9. Happy birthday Antonio!
  10. Skip the rust proofing on your new car, buy Sous-Vide
  11. Damn that is pretty bad ass that MSB are back to ladder DACs. I recall them switching to delta sigma at one point. Good videos on their site too.
  12. Ouch sorry to hear this. Are you able to send things via your national post with tracking without resorting to unholy expensive couriers (esp for large stuff like the T2 sets)?
  13. It's cool, I sold my XA5400ES a while back too. It was great with SACD, but the majority of them were hybrid discs that I wasn't even using it that much. Seems everything is going discless anyway.
  14. I await your impressions
  15. Are you thinking about making this your main source?
  16. Very nice Kerry
  17. It should sound great, he said there is "virtually no compression or limiting". Also streaming samples up at the album page http://www.gracefordrowning.com/ (plus Steve Hackett from Genesis is on it ) A shame that Opeth are still sticking to CD/DVD (and I think the DVD is a DVD-V and not high res audio).
  18. Steven Wilson is going blu-ray for the high res digital version for his new solo album.
  19. Latest from Music Matters Cliff Jordan - Cliff Craft (mono) Sonny Rollins - Newk's Time Sonny Clark - Sonny's Crib (mono) Johnny Griffin - The Congregation plus Led Zeppelin - BBC Sessions Classic Records 200g box set
  20. Very sad to hear this news
  21. Unquestionable Presence is their classic album. Piece of Time is good too. They are quite different from Messhuggah, but are also technical/experimental.
  22. Have you heard Atheist? You might like them
  23. If it was the Blue Note reissues that got you interested in vinyl, just curious why you chose vinyl over their respective SACD, XRCD and soon to be coming (rumored) high res downloads? Plus the high res discs Classic Records released Not finding fault in your logic at all, I prefer the vinyl myself but it is a pain in the ass.
