Started playing Age of Conan this weak. Rolled a ToS on Mannanan. Pretty fun so far, I like the mature storyline, immersion factor, and combat.

on my VP129 it was fucking impossible without pliers, I kid you not. but hell, its a 12ax7 tube on a cheap ass phono stage. just throw in an Ei and be done with it. that one you only need your tooly thing once.

Excellent point, if the case was intended for travelling. Instead it was intended as a stay-at-home-home for pricey HP2s. Elephas, you should try lining it with some sort of silk, a la the W5000 flight case.

The early 80s JGB like on the recent "After Midnight: Live At Kean College" release was tight as all hell. Really fun hearing jerry in a stripped down four piece like that. That recording has fantastic sound and mastering for the record, which is not the case with all the Pure Jerry releases.

live bass/drums at a metal show get me off, though. nowhere else can I feel the music viscerally like that.

To change my statement, the Wheatfield sounds better with the HD650, and I am confident the balanced beta22 will sound better with everything.

Same here with my Veda. Sketchy attention to detail, but still the best sounding amp I've personally owned.
