  1. deadwood is king of shows.
  2. i asked his permission to repost his impressions, still waiting to hear back from him.
  3. i'll start another thread about that later.
  4. yes, when I go balanced, I'll be going all balanced. i'll send a truckful of cans to engima audio. these days I'm trying to weigh the differences between a $1500 balanced b22 and a $2000-$2500 Moon Audio Luna. With so few Lunas out amongst consumers I'm not expecting a critical shoot out between these two amps anytime soon.
  5. k so its an isolated incident, but when listening to the kg/sh acoustech "icky thump", the Dynahi -> W5000 does electric guitar crunch better then the RS-1. Fuller, richer, crunchier, smoother. And the drum snap is fantastic. Spinning this record with these cans has me playing air guitar and air drums like crazy. good stuff!
  6. it answers my question perfectly! thank you very much.
  7. Hey- Roundabouts how much would a balanced b22 cost to have built (by someone else, not me)? just a range, thanks.

  9. yeah actually you are right, its easy as hell to just do a new cue sheet in eac, then select all the wavs and dump them in. click save and there is a cue.
  10. nah you posted that white kitten "hay guys" pic a little while back, that was kick ass.
  11. well i downloaded the plug in, and installed a stripped down version of nero burning rom, and it works beautifully through foobar. thanks all for the help, i can start archiving all this music now.
  12. haha, nah most of the new shows are encoded flac, though most of the old dead is still in shn.
  13. happy birthday tyll!
  14. cool, i'll check this out.
  15. really? these people seem to think it is horrible bloatware.
  16. So I've got a bunch of FLAC files that need burnin' to disc so I can play them in my 999es. I don't trust WMP or iTunes. I just downloaded CD BurnerXP Pro and it seems to be a good program. Are there any other programs I should consider? This is specifically for files without a cue sheet, obviously if there is a cue sheet I'll use EAC.
  17. with enough of their buttermilk ranch, sure.
  18. i love the lord of the flies satire on that episode of the simpsons, when all the kids get stranded on an island. someone says "i'm so hungry I get eat arby's" chik-fil-a is king though. i can eat anything on that menu.
