    CanJam 2009

Nine to five Saturday and Sunday is the official schedule. There will be some after hours private sessions on Saturday and possibly on Friday but details are sketchy at this point because they need to be worked out with the vendors. If you need a Saturday morning pickup, let me know anything's possible.

    CanJam 2009

There is a small welcome/everyone meet up event for Friday evening at about 5pm which should be worth stopping by for; 909 and some others are trying to put together a bar and music run for Saturday evening. There is at least one Saturday hospitality event scheduled for Head Casers (that I know of) and as Voltron said there may be others. Hoffman is tentatively scheduled for 1 and 4 pm Saturday with Tyll and the other guy scheduled for talks in between. If you are interested, the speaker system that will back up the Hoffman talk is supposed to be pretty good and will be having private demos of their system's capabilities in between the Hoffman/Tyll presentations. Head Casers have priority for these demos if they are interested.
  3. Or the VacuVin wine corks. Not their intended use but works in a pinch.
  4. So noted. Warm up that checkbook......... No word from Maurice yet but soon I suspect. Your the Headcase TARP representative. Tasty Alcoholcollection Refinancing Participant
  5. That guy lives about five miles from me, I practically passed his house this morning on my morning bike ride. If anyone is coming to Can Jam and wants me to do a pick up, I can save you shipping costs at least.
  6. But will it be enough to finance your wine jones?
  7. Probably his nurse. I think I saw a stethoscope in the background a few frames back.
  8. Naaman, You mean with the new power supplies they were working on since Christmas right? Different than the IVY ones?
  9. The Dayton ones are really nice and I think they still come in different colors so you aren't limited to basic silver.
  10. That inductor looks as big as a dinner plate!
  11. Excuse me, I think you are in the wrong forum to be talking about waiting to buy new gear.
  12. It's damn good but if you mean is it worth the money, well I guess that is in the palate of the drinker. Like most things in audio, good costs, great costs big and awesome is relative and friggin' expensive. I am always looking for great value wines, and Sea Smoke is what I consider a great value Pinot. To each his own I guess.
  13. Seasmoke Ten and Southing. Pay now, get it the end of November. Bad enough they charge you so much for the stuff but they get eight months float on you money.
  14. Oh, I forgot, happy birthday!
  15. What fridge? What microwave??
  16. Dinny, I think the EC/SS is a fantastic choice and I am sure he will love the combo you picked out for him. I loved the EC/SS for the time I had it in my system and occasionally wonder if I should have kept it along with my tube amp.
  17. Three of these and and three of these. So much for the New Years resolution.
  18. I'll trade you mine for a Blue Hawaii............. or a seven by one foot piece of Macassar Ebony.
  19. Did you have the 1911 modded or did you buy it pre-tuned?
  20. Somehow I am thinking Can Jam, single malt, a few kind words and you will spill the beans.
  21. Some of my better evenings have been sharing wine with myself. It also helps to avoid arguments when you drink good wine alone.
