Dr. Gilmore needs to be informed that his avatar has been hijacked. http://www.american-digital.com/prodsite/default.asp?source=SALEMAIL20090318
  3. Peter Michael Les Pavot for deep storage. Should resurface in 2012.
  4. Please refer to above post /\ /\ /\ /\ #26 in case you don't get it.
  5. Nice! I'll give a longer listen on Monday. Thanks.
  6. If you mean loading the music you want her to have on the external then transfering that music to her Itunes on her computer then downloading from her Itunes account on her computer to her nano, then that will work. I think I did that for one of my family members.
  7. Pine veneer I think. As for the darker round stuff, I don't know.
  8. *snap* Ken, you always have the ultimate solution. Cryoed Kosta Browne smoothies coming up!
  9. I feel for you, line noise would make me go nuts. The advantage of a power conditioner is that if you move, it goes with you dedicated lines are a more cost effective solution but it stays when you move. Good luck finding a solution.
  10. Well I guess I should be thankful that I drink a lot when I listen to my music and have old tired ears, it sure saves me a lot of money on tweaks. My Oyaide connectors sound the same to me as my Oyaide clones and my dedicated line that is 1/2 meter from the panel sounds the same as my non-hospital grade outlets that are fifty feet from the other panel. We all hear differently and I guess that is a good thing.
  11. I recommend- The Madisound Speaker Components Store any of these, I think Parts Express sells some of these as well. If you want to get kinky with your SS, then you could try these- Studs And Spikes .com store One of the guys who built a BottleHead amp used the spikes listed here. Good luck.
  12. And what about this? Moore School of Business - Moore School - Rankings Ooops, or did you mean the other one?
  13. Hardly easy as pie--- And the Best Executive M.B.A. Programs In 2008 Are... - WSJ.com
  14. Well I thought the L'avinon was very interesting once it opened up but that is just my preferences for subtle non oaked-into-oblivion fruit forward whites. FWIW
  15. Well following that statement one could surmise that all Israli businesses would be successful because of the military background of the employees and this is clearly not the case, yes? So why try to minimize the point I was making? The point was military service can provide high levels of technical ( and other ) training.
  16. Technically off topic but ......... the coyotes out here must be having Woodstock II, lots and lots of howling. Reminds me of the ending of the movie sand of the Kala Harri. Now back to the music......
  17. LFF's remaster of my original source. Clearly the best of the six different versions that I have save for the speed corrected vinyl played on a Clear Audio TT through MBLs but that is not and apples to apples comparison-- so shoot me.
  18. Fingers crossed for you. Good luck, if it is meant to be.....
  19. Finally trying to do that head to head comparison of Aardvark's OJC version. The Shiraz should help in the evaluation.
  20. I agree with Dan. In the military you get a lot of training on the most current and often cutting edge technology, and you get to play with a lot of cool gear. Note how a lot of Israeli high tech companies are made up of former Israeli army guys and gals, there is a reason for this. Either way, hang in there Colin.
